Unfortunately my neighbor wanted to go today 2/19/26. How is it even possible to get the brisket this dry. I swear I’d never come back but thought I’d grab a brisket sandwich again while I was here and yes it was horrible. I was here on 2/5/26 for lunch. I drove all the way from Green Valley just to get the moist brisket sandwich. It was like shoe leather. Very little brisket on the sandwich. Huge disappointment. What has happened to the quality of the brisket? This does seem to happen on occasion at this location. I should have went in and asked for my money back.

We decided to try this place. It advertises a market with it but the market is a counter with t-shirts, sauce, snacks only. It was very small
You have to order your food and they give it to you in a crate. I ordered half a rack of ribs. They actually weighed my ribs and said they were a little over. My price went from 9.99 to 14.99. I didn’t expect to have my food weighed and then charged more.
My son had the brisket sandwich, which was buy one get one free. He ordered potato salad, which he grabbed out of the cooler. I ordered beans
Anyway, the ribs were good. They were tender, not fall of the bone tender but not bad. The beans I had were a little spicy and had a good flavor. My son’s sandwich was good. The potato salad was good wasn’t overloaded with mayonnaise.
We both thought the food was decent but not the best we ever had. We probably won’t go back.

I’ve eaten barbecue brisket all over Texas and Rudy’s in Tucson is right up there with the best I have eaten! The flavor is the best! We had their brisket for Thanksgiving and it was a hit! Our family is grateful to have such a great place to eat. I no longer order my brisket from Texas and have it shipped. It’s in my backyard now! If you want to enjoy a slice of brisket, this is the place!!!

Nice place, good food. Great if you like to dig in your food with your hands, otherwise this ain’t your place. Moist brisket and the turkey where my favorite. The pulled pork was ok, not your tipical flavor, tasted nice with their barbeque sauce, both of them. Baby back ribs where good, needed a bit of flavor, but the sauces where perfect for them. The corn on the cob was ok, the corn cream was really good. The jalapeño sausage was tasty, but go for the brisket and the tuekey. Their sweet tea was excellent.

First we got breakfast tacos for the first time and they got our order wrong. Then we went for lunch and got brisket, baby back ribs, cream corn and potato salad. Then kids rushed to get their so wanted Big Red and machine was out, told one employee and said they would tell someone. We started eating and the ribs were flavorless, I reached for the cream corn which is my favorite and no flavor, not sweet as regularly is I asked one of kids to try it and yes said the same thing. So I decided to go tell them and they said it depends who makes the corn. I would think they have a standard recipe. So they exchange it for half sausage since I did not care for the other sides. Big red was not added instead they put an out of order sign. We left very disappointed since we were visiting from California . We will not come back this particular restaurant. We normally go to the one in Goodyear and it sucks I take my cream corn which pint as I wanted. Food was also kinda cold and it’s disappointing because you have high expectations and cravings. Plus, it ain’t cheap so it feels like we wasted our money. We had invited our family and it turned out to be a bad experience.

Best food anywhere in Tucson! Great allergian menu, Im celiac with many food allergies. Rudys is the only restaurant I have never had a reaction to what I’ve eaten. We eat here every 2 weeks. The brisket is the best.

Hanna, the manager is very unprofessional. The cheap lid and cups they use for the puddings came fell apart when we picked it up from the refrigerator (from the cup not the lid). She directed the cashier to charge us for the pudding. We spent $122, with 3 puddings included. The right thing to do is not to give out rude directives to your employees who want to do the right thing for customers, in front of customers. A $3.99 operating loss because of your cheap supplies won’t kill your business, but it will push customers and employees away. Get better packing and do better, Hanna.
