If you enjoy fruit flies (place can’t be clean because the temperature was in the 40’s outside) annoying you while you try to eat, cherry stems in your beer (gross), overcooked burgers (ordered medium rare and was well done) and fried cheesesteak rolls that have barely any meat, then this place is for you. I was excited to check this sport bar out because it has all the making of a really good sports bar. I can’t return to this place though because after my experience, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like (and not in a good way). I will say the fries were crispy and well seasoned.

My wife found this place on Uber eats and we absolutely loved it. They had a deal of buy one get one free cheeseburgers and also 10 piece wings. You can’t beat that deal. We also tried the corn nuggets we recommend adding their sweet potato sauce. Amazing. The burgers were so good! The wings were so crispy. We would love to go dine there next time we are in town.

Rudi’s is a sure thing! The location is accessible, although the parking lot could use some attention. The menu is great as it has many of my favorites and layout of the space is ideal for anyone looking for a chill atmosphere with cool people and great music. The restroom is a big tiny but overall it’s a great place that is not stuffy or stuck up. I recommended!

ordered Italian wedding soup on Uber Eats they didn’t fill my soup all the way and there was no meatballs in my soup and she told me that it doesn’t come with it and if you know it definitely does. Also no utensils or napkins in my bag.

I’ve visited this bar twice now, and unfortunately, both times I noticed a pretty big issue with fruit flies. On my first visit, it was a bit off putting to see so many, and one even landed in my drink. The second visit, we had the same issue with flies, plus we had a disappointing experience with the service. While our waitress was easy on the eyes, it ended there she was inattentive and a bit snotty she didn’t even acknowledge us when we left a generous tip. I hope they can address the cleanliness and service issues, because it’s a nice spot otherwise

We went on a Wednesday evening and this place was packed! Filled with laughter and good vibes. There actually were no seats but the waiter said he can set up a foldable table for us- complete with a tablecloth. It worked for us. There were $2-3 tacos. We ordered a few of each and they were yummy especially the shrimp and pulled pork! The wings were a bit salty for my liking, but everything else was very good. They held Trivia night and although we did not participate, we enjoyed others’ laughter and good time. Waiter and waitresses were great. We’ll be back, thank you!

Would not recommend due to terrible customer service. I’m not one to leave a review but the tonight was unacceptable. It’s New Years day, I walked in 20 minutes after placing my order over the phone, walked up to the pick up location only to be ignored as if the waitress didn’t see me. There were a group of 3 men she was tending to at the time I walked up who were questioning her about getting drinks complaining that there were no seats at the bar and a lady waiting for her order to be ready. I didn’t receive a greeting as if I was just standing there for my health. I stood there for a good five minutes before noticing even the manager of the restaurant was right there at the end of the bar who didn’t bother to greet me. After watching the to-go waitress walk in and out the kitchen about 3 times, I walked up to the manager and asked kindly if I could pay for my order I made over the phone only to realize my order had been sitting next to him the entire time just freezing away. They saw me walk up to the side table to see if either of the two orders already bagged were for me and didn’t bother to ask for my name, number or order. I say this to say that racism is a real thing and is still here on Long Island and anyone of color should not spend their money here.

I was heading out East to Ridge, from West Islip, so I figured I’d plan on stopping here, as it was on my Burger Hit List, after I heard people say good things about it
It’s up North of Sunrise Hwy, on the West side, about a mile up from Sunrise.
Not noticeable from Rt 112, as the front of the Bar, and their main Rudi’s sign faces North, not towards Rt 112…
There is a sign on Rt 112, so it’s not impossible to find, lol
I ordered the burger medium rare, as usual; no rabbit food, toast the bun, with Blue Cheese, fries as crispy as possible ♂️
The burger came close to medium rare, a little bit towards the medium side, but I dont complain about slight differences.
The amount of Blue Cheese was impressive!!!
I don’t think I’ve ever had that much Blue Cheese ever, on a burger!!
The meat was good, but it was a more mild burger blend than what I prefer.
It was still flavorful, and I enjoyed it.
You could tell they hand press the burger in house by the structure of the burger.
It’s definitely not breaking into my Top 10, maybe Top 25 ♂️
“Meat to bun” ratio was right on target. One didn’t overwhelm the other.
The fries were really crispy, and very good. I’m not sure if they did them in-house, as I didnt notice any skin.
The large bar area was pretty crowded at 1ish, when I got there.
The bar was near full, but plenty of tables could be had.
It’s a tough time of year for many places, as there is no Football to get hineys in the seats on the weekends during the day.
The menu is quite extensive, filled with many bar food favorites
They seem to run a bunch of daily specials, even a Hamburger Special
They also seemed to do a decent “to-go” business there, as there was a slow stream of people picking up their orders.
I would not hesitate to recommend the burger, or the Bar.
The Service was really good. Polite, Prompt, and Professional..What else do you need?
Parking is a bit tight, but they have a parking lot, and there is also street parking.

Typical “dive” bar feel. Server was friendly, working both the bar and our table. We started with chicken Cordon Bleu bites and pierogis. The bites were excellent. The breading had a perfect crunch when bitten into. The inside was a ball of chicken filled with ham and gooey cheese. The pierogis dough and filling were tasty, but would have been better fried or sautéed, rather than steamed which didn’t do them justice (we had already tried a few from the picture) My husband ordered a Hamburger. It was generously topped with his choices, bacon, cheese and crispy battered onions. It was cooked to his temperature liking. I had a battered shrimp Taco and chili cheese hot dog. The Taco was delicious, included corn salsa and guacamole. The hot dog, not so great. Cheese was unidentifiable; it was not cheese sauce. Couldn’t really even find Chili, if not for a few beans. Overall a good experience, your basic bar food.

I would like to thank the staff at Rudi’s for making us welcome at there place. We were in town for the Ryder Cup and looked for a place close by to have a late lunch on Friday. Since they had early service e we went back on Sunday to watch the Steeler game from Ireland. The staff was excellent and treated us like regulars. The breakfast was good. We will send a picture of us with the Rudi’s shirts provided by you. Thanks again for the courtesy extended to us and good luck to all. You are the best.
