A delicious lunch in a neat location! They have amazing cocktails and delicious food. I had a chicken sandwich off the specials menu with mango salsa and avocado with a side of tater tots, it was so good! My husband had the Gouda burger which had Gouda cheese and caramelized onions and bacon, he said it was “Gouda”. We stopped by and took a gander at the nearby whirly gig park while we were there, checked that off the bucket list. Highly recommend!

Visited tonight for the first time, we were seated promptly. The burger was flavorful, juicy & delicious! Our server, Darius, was very attentive – glass never emptied & prompt throughout the whole dinner.
The atmosphere was a little underwhelming, bland – I was expecting some ruckus but it fell short. The chairs were from the hobby lobby catalog & won’t comfortable – looking at other reviews – that seems to be the biggest ‘complaint.’ I would suggest new chairs and for them to be the statement pieces – the more comfortable the client – the more they’ll spend.
I would also dim the lights as well for after 4pm, to make the vibe a little more chill.

We went to Wilson for a pickleball tournament and this place was a winner!! We were all so hungry that I didn’t get any food pics, but my Philly Cheesesteak was amazing – best I’ve ever had. Everyone else enjoyed their burgers and chicken and onion rings. Our server was attentive and food and drink came quickly. They have a nice beer selection along with lots of other beverage choices. Definitely come here if you’re near the big pickleball center, Whirligig Park or downtown Wilson.

My burger and drink were amazing. I loved the apple pomegranate seltzer. The appetizers were decent but very small. A great spot for a date or small get together of 2-3. Everyone there is wonderful: staff was professional and prompt. I wouldn’t say it’s ideal for dogs or kids. It’s a little too small and the vibe is a little too mature even though it’s a kind, slightly artsy, and fun atmosphere. The burger was amazing, I basically inhaled it. It was actually rare and the bacon was delicious. Again cute date spot, will be returning with the hubby on our little day trips. I would say no large groups, no big dogs or sensitive and reactive dogs, and probably no kids. Again, really enjoyed it but as a mama with all of the above this is a date spot.

This was a great place to have lunch in Wilson, just a block away from the Vollis Simpson Whirligig Park. The food was the best part here, whoever is cooking in the kitchen knows how to make tasty food! I had the fried brussel sprouts and the buffalo chicken sandwich, I can say I would have both again. My friend is a vegetarian and there were great vegetarian options on the menu. The dining area is clean and spartan. I personally am not a fan of metal chairs with the A/C cranking. My party was a little chilly after, but it was a nice respite from the summer heat! I would totally eat here again and recommend to anyone looking for a nice lunch.

The burgers, tots, and Brussel sprouts were good. The burgers are pricy for what, offer , my Gouda was $18, but it was good. On the day of my visit, a quiet Wednesday, my only disappointed was the service. Took me a while to put my order and I had to go to the bar to ask and pay for the check because both staff members were busy entertaining some apparently frequent customers.

11/10 food and service! Absolutely wonderful atmosphere inside and out. Has a wide variety of burger options and also salads, chicken sandwiches if you wanted something besides a burger. Drinks are impressive and the bourbon wall is a sight to see!

I’m going to get the bad out of the way first, and I admit that I may be alone in these feelings lol, BUT… Ruckus and Redemption? Idk man, I don’t get the name it’s like they are trying to be edgy or something but like, c’mon just be cool bro. I think it, and perhaps the whole restaurant, harken back to like 2015ish when craft burger joints were springing up out of the woodwork but were all kinda the same. For example, the chairs… Oh man the chairs are those metal ones you see in every other burger joint with a hipster name and let me tell you… Unless you are a 10 year old boy your butt isn’t going to fit all the way back. The food comes out on metal trays with paper liners, another hallmark of the trendy burger joint.
So I’ll tell you what my expectations before getting my food were pretty low. Then it came out… Y’all. Seriously? This is one of my favorite restaurants I’ve ever been to. My wife and I each got the patty melt type burger and it was 11/10 good. Juicy, flavorful, both cooked just how we ordered. I mean this is one of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. Often they are just salted to death but not at this place. For an app we got the loaded tots and holy smokes were those good. Some kind of excellent cheese sauce on these things that kinda maybe resembled beer cheese but it wasn’t . Idk but they were amazing, with the tots hot when served and not overdone. The seasoned fries we both got with the burger were also chefs kiss good.
This place was SO good we came back for Sunday brunch the next day lol. Oh before I forget, the drinks here are also phenomenal. Wife had a paloma that was delicious and actually had alcohol in it and I had a bloody Mary, that while I would really have appreciated a pickle or something in it, that was also delicious and definitely had vodka in it lol.
But the food? Once again it was smack your mama good. The biscuits with the fruit spread? OMG get in my belly I literally want them again right now. Left so amazed by the burger the night before guess what I got? That’s right the brunch burger! Once again my taste buds were tantalized by an outrageously good burger. I just really can’t say enough good about the food here.
Service was great and all the staff were friendly. So I’m a little sorry for the way this review began but it is what it is. I would 1000% go back to Wilson just to eat here again.

Wow, this place exceeded my expectations. While on layover, I enjoyed an amazing experience! Walking into the door, this place was somewhat full for a late lunch!
Where to start, I had a layover with Amtrak and happen to see that this was an option! The host and waiter were extremely friendly and helpful! Wow was I impressed with the homemade cocktail (the Seltzers were great especially the Apple Hard Seltzers)! Then comes to the menu, easy to use and man was the food was off chain! I chose the special which was a Sweet Pimento Cheeseburger and a guest patron told me to get the tots! Wow was the food cooked to expectation!
From friendly conversations with the locals and the staff, I’ll gladly come back!

We were in the area the other day and stopped in. We were seated quickly and service was fast. It was the two year anniversary of the restaurant, so we got 2 free margaritas apiece!! The margaritas were hand made, no pre mixed stuff. The food was delicious, fries tasted as if they had a tad bit of brown sugar on them which was delicious. My only complaint is I ordered my burger medium rare and it was closer to medium well/ well done. Even though the burger wasn’t cooked as ordered it was still juicy and delicious hence the 5 stars. We would definitely come again.
