From the entering of the door, the welcome is warm and makes you comfortable. The options had me in a limbo but one of the ladies help me decide. I got the pork chop dinner (one smothered and one fried) over rice, with macaroni and cheese and baked beans with a cornbread muffin. Then I got a fried fish sandwich. Mannnnnnn! Everything was goooooooood. I recommend checking this place out and supporting them. I hope they stay consistent with their great customer service and continue growing. This is a great addition to the city of Gastonia.

First time coming here and I got to say that the food was definitely fresh and delicious. I got the Philly cheesesteak with fries and my wife got the baked chicken with rice, greens, and Mac and cheese and didn’t disappoint not one bit. You want some good soul food for a reasonable price and good size portions then come here and check it out! The owner was nice and checking on us from time to time. 9/10 recommend

Mac no cheese just grease Dry as ever The potato salad didn’t even taste like potato salad. It is very sweet the greens was the only side that taste Worth anything The chicken was soggy. I asked for them to cook it extra hard, but it was very soggy. Once putting in the air fryer. It was crispy like I liked it. It was already seasoned good. The chicken barbecue tips a little spicy but overall satisfying. I’m kind of disappointed because my meal was very expensive. Hopefully they get it together with these sides asap

Omg this is the best restaurant hands down .. I will definitely order again tomorrow.. I order the baked chicken with Mac and cheese and rice and brown gravy and cornbread and when I tell you everything was so good.. and oh yeah the suicide kool-aid was the bomb… 10 out of 10

I placed an order for food while returning to South Carolina, but upon receiving the notification that it was ready, I found that it was still being prepared when I arrived. I had even reached the location after the indicated readiness time. The staff were quite friendly and showed no frustration. I considerably waited patient; (presentation of food was nice) however, given the quality of the food and the duration of the wait, I believe the total cost was not justified. Mac and cheese is one of my preferred side dishes, yet the version I received did not meet my expectations. Similarly, the candied sweet potatoes, another favorite of mine, tasted as though they were canned with brown sugar and cinnamon added, which was somewhat acceptable. Additionally, while the chicken appeared crispy, it required further cooking. I took it home and finished it in the air fryer. (The two smaller/baby wings hidden under the whole wings were more tastier). Overall, it seemed as though my order was prepared in haste. The piece of fish included with my entrée was the highlight of my meal. I also ordered the suicide mix Kool-Aid, which met my expectations for Kool-Aid. I refrained from giving a low rating because I recognize the establishment’s potential; it may have simply been an off day for them when I visited.

The food was amazing. My wife and I shared a catfish plate with greens and Mac n cheese. Everything was good. The catfish was fresh and seasoned perfectly greens were exactly how I used to have them as a kid and the 4 cheese Mac was perfect. Portion size is great me and my wife shared a plate and we were both full, would highly recommend this place.

This was my first time eating here! My husband and I! I got the leg & he got the 3 wings and links!! We both LOVED our meals! It was so much food! And whatever sauce they base the leg in is amazing! My only complaint was they forgot my potato salad! But the Mac and cheese and the leg made up for the missing potato salad! I believe I spoke with the owner while waiting for my food she was very sweet and friendly! Definitely will be back!! Just get cocktail sauce for the fish lol!! Oh and there playlist was lit, while I was waiting!!
