Celebrating a friend’s birthday dinner. Our server was super nice & patient with us. The service was good & everyone enjoyed there entrees. For food, I recommend the Spicy Noodles. Make sure to make reservations, they have outdoor seating as well & parking lot. Great for hosting a birthday dinner. Gratitude already including for 5 people or more. Definitely check them out.

What a great experience. The atmosphere sets the tone of what a great evening you will have. The place is beautifully decorated. The food was delicious. I took a chance and tried the beet salad. I am so glad I did. Yummy! I also had the salmon, which was also delicious. The service was top-notch! Our server was Ala. He was attentive but didn’t hover. He also gave great wine recommendations. The pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely go back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ruby’s and Roses in Pleasanton with a large party of eight, and the experience was exceptional from start to finish.
The cocktail program is definitely a highlight. We ordered a few, and they were all expertly crafted and delicious. A special shout-out goes to the Old Fashioned, which was served with a truly stylish and unique presentation that elevated the experience.
We started with several appetizers, all of which turned out to be excellent—perfect for sharing with a large group. This quality carried right through to the main courses and the desserts, all of which were very satisfying.
Ruby’s and Roses provided great food and great drinks, making it a perfect spot for a celebratory or casual group dinner. We highly recommend it!

I really don’t understand the hype about this place. We went for an early bird dinner tonight for my mom’s birthday. Overall, the food was very subpar. We started with the wings, calamari, and bone marrow. The wings were very tasty and cooked perfectly. The calamari and bone marrow were okay. The gem salad was pretty good. They didn’t skimp out on the dressing. So we initially ordered the rib eye, but our waitress said they ran out of rib eyes. I don’t know how you can run out of a rib eye! Then the waitress came back to tell my sil that they also ran out of the tamale ravioli. It was mind boggling! We both ordered the cajun fettuccini pasta and it was just okay. Nothing to write home about and def would not order again. I would never come back to this restaurant. There are other good places in Pleasanton that are also far cheaper than Ruby & Roses.

We chose this restaurant to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and while the experience was largely positive, there were a few notable points. Our server, Ali, was a highlight. He was incredibly patient as we navigated the drink menu, ultimately helping us select a Lavender cocktail, Mimosa, and Espresso Martini.
Caught up in birthday celebrations, we took our time ordering food. We started with calamari, and I opted for the Eggs Benedict, while also arranging a special dessert for the birthday girl. The food was tasty, the ambiance was lovely, and the service, particularly from Ali, was excellent.
However, the reception experience was a bit disorganized. Despite having a reservation, we were left waiting for an extended period, while other parties who arrived after us were seated. It was only after another customer pointed out that we had arrived before them so we were finally shown to our table. I am very grateful to that customer.
This restaurant certainly boasts an Instagram-worthy aesthetic, making it an ideal choice for special occasions. Parking is convenient and free, with additional space available across the street.

Not sure what’s the hype about this place. Sure, it has great ambience but that alone won’t cut it. I mentioned that it was my husband’s birthday while reserving the table 15 days ago, neither was there any information from the restaurant nor atleast a free dessert. The food was substandard. Mongolian chicken wings were good, street noodles were too oily and lamb chops were quite dry. Overall, can visit for the ambience not for the food

Wow, what a treat for this beautiful downtown. Came here on a whim as they had a soft opening. From the moment we walked in to the time we left the service, experience and food / cocktails were spot on. The prices were not over the top. I am hoping this new establishment can maintain the quality, staff and prices.
Almost every dish we had was tasty and creatively presented. Patty was our waitress and she gets 5 stars too. The decor inside and out was amazing. I can see during a warm evening the outside will be bustling.
Keep up the great work!

From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere at Ruby’s and Roses was absolutely stunning. The interior design is elegant yet inviting, with a beautifully curated ambiance that makes the entire dining experience feel special.
The front desk staff was warm and welcoming, making check-in seamless. The incredible staff throughout the restaurant ensured that we were comfortable and well taken care of, but a special shoutout goes to our amazing waiter, Diego! He was incredibly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed and providing excellent recommendations.
Now, onto the food–every single dish was a 10/10! The chicken piccata was perfectly cooked and flavorful, the truffle fries were crispy and indulgent, the jambalaya had the perfect balance of spice and richness, and the salmon and lobster roll was absolutely divine. Every bite was a delight, and we can’t wait to come back for more!
Highly recommend Ruby’s and Roses for an unforgettable dining experience.

Lovely place for brunch or lunch. Very nicely decorated throughout. Many opportunities for great photos. Servers were attentive and friendly. Drinks were creative and tasty, not too strong. My friend ordered their non alcoholic drink and commented that it actually tasted as if there was alcohol. I was slightly disappointed in the flavors of some of the food options, which is why I rated 4 stars. We ordered mostly from the starter menu with one entree. They were out of the bone marrow dish, such a bummer! The garlic lover starter was definitely my favorite. I just wish the garlic was spreadable but I was fine to eat it whole. The garlic wasn’t overpowering I wasn’t left with garlic breath. The curry style mussels were another favorite really great taste. The bao sliders I would not recommend. While the plating was nice, they were overly salty. They also packed in flavor. There were bell peppers and greens but absolutely no taste to them just a huge salt bomb. I’m not a fan of jambalaya but I would absolutely order this dish again. It paired really well with pasta versus rice. There was also a spice to it that we were not expecting. We ended with the moulted chocolate cake and lotus cookie with ice cream. Both desserts were very delicious.
I’d recommend this place if you’re in the area but would probably not go out of my way to visit. Although I may just have to visit again to try the bone marrow.
