Wow – what a surprise find! We ended up ordering 10 items, from pineapple empanadas to guascinitos to flan to sugar tostadas to pecan bread! The items had excellent texture and moistness, and just the right amount of sweetness. The croissant was so flaky and lightly buttered. Sadly we just missed out on guava pastries. The prices were very reasonable and the owner was super polite and nice. We’ll stop there again if we’re in the area!

It is the only dedicated bakery in the area. Having said that, Ruby’s has delightfully delicious fare. I have been hooked on to the concha’s and other sweet treats here for about 2 weeks now. Treats are not overly sweet or feel unhealthy.

Ruby’s Bakery is a cute little bakery nestled in the small town of Middlebush. They have a great selection of conchas, croissants, and empanadas. I even tried a purple sweet potato empanada, which I’ve never had before, and it was delicious. The staff answered all my questions, and were super helpful. I’ll definitely be back!
