We visited on Friday, January 16th and unfortunately had a very concerning experience.
My daughter ordered the plain grilled salmon and it arrived clearly undercooked and raw in the center. We let our server know, and he was excellent—attentive, professional, and doing everything he could to fix the situation.
While the salmon was being remade, we could hear the manager speaking to the kitchen, telling them to temp the salmon and asking if they were actually using a thermometer. Despite that, the replacement salmon also came out raw. It was also covered in hickory bourbon sauce even though the original order had been plain.
After two failed attempts, the server offered to replace the meal with chicken.
What was frustrating was the lack of management involvement. The manager never came to our table during any of the issues—no apology for the wait, no attempt to make it right. After the second raw salmon, the server offered to send her over and we heard him ask her, but she still did not come. She only came to the table after the check arrived—and only because I requested to speak with her.
Her explanation was that the salmon was undercooked because it is cooked from frozen, and she insisted they were temping it properly but claimed that was still why it was coming out raw. That didn’t make sense—proper temperature verification should ensure safe doneness regardless of whether something starts frozen or thawed.
My biggest concern is that my daughter ate a few bites of the first salmon before realizing it was raw. I noticed the problem with the second plate immediately and stopped her from eating it.
Our server truly did everything right, but the repeated issues from the kitchen and the manager’s response raised serious concerns about food safety and proper thermometer use at this location.

My boyfriend and I came to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and we both loved the atmosphere, our server Amber was awesome and everyone we encountered was polite, friendly and attentive. The chef was on top of their game tonight and everything was cooked to perfection – we couldn’t believe the flavor behind every bite! We will definitely be coming back!

Welcoming staff and wonderful food. Went around 7 pm on a Friday night and they were the busiest I think I’ve ever seen them. Which is unfortunate because this place is awesome. I overheard some people talking at the bar when they were introducing themselves to others, from all different states. It’s nice to see travelers stop here as we’re not too far off 295.
And I just realized I lost my reciept so I don’t have our servers name but he was GREAT! Made us feel like there was no rush for anything, he was helpful with our questions, and came by at just the right times. Refills were on point. ALL the staff was welcoming and nice truthfully!
There were tons of people sitting at the bar but the atmosphere was relaxed and was surprisingly not loud at all. Our food took a bit to come out, which for me is fine cause everyone was working and if I wanted fast food I’d have gone to McDonald’s.
The manager brought us our food, and apologized that there was a bit of wait but frankly I didn’t even notice how long it had been because we were just finishing our appetizers.
The food was phenomenal, don’t discount that chicken Cesar salad! I’d assumed it would be Romain but was Iceberg lettuce, HOWEVER the lettuce was fresh and flavorful. The dressing is to die for!
One photo I didn’t get the was the ultimate chocolate cake. It was soft and the flavor kept developing in your mouth. Rich but not too rich and definitely not too sweet.
We sat and watched some baseball on the TV as we were sitting next to the bar. No one ever made us feel like we had to leave quickly and since they did still have tables, we just relaxed and enjoyed some time out of the house. Our server in fact once he brought our check that there was no rush whatsoever, to take our time and enjoy ourselves.
Never once had a bad experience here personally and we will absolutely be returning! From the staff to the customers it felt like we were all family in there tonight.
I’m sorry anyone had a bad experience here and I understand it can happen but I’d urge those people to maybe try to give it one more shot cause it can be great.

This is how the rice pilaf and steamed broccoli looks.
No seasoning was used on the broccoli and they used old broccoli judging from the fact there’s bits of yellow and brown.
The rice was overcooked.. Just left in water to turn into mash.

I recently dined at Ruby Tuesday during lunch and had a fantastic experience! The food was excellent, I am shocked being right outside Fort Lee it isn’t more busy that it normally is. I was particularly impressed by the portion sizes, especially the rice. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was attentive. I highly recommend Ruby Tuesday for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a comfortable setting

I was debating whether or not to post a review about my experience from this place because it was so bad that I didn’t really know how to approach it and I even slept on it but here we go. First thing first, this was my very first time trying out Ruby’s Tuesday because I was only in town for that weekend. This will be my last time eating anything from any ruby Tuesdays, and because of this experience, I will now be checking reviews from every restaurant before trying them. I ordered my food online and it said it would be ready in 15 minutes, I found it odd since I ordered a lot but man oh man did I find out why it didn’t take them so long to have the order ready. Google really should allow reviewers the option to give zero stars. I ordered the t-bone medium well with mash potatoes and the blackened tilapia with the Mac n cheese and roasted corn. I’m still debating on whether or not I should post pictures, but I don’t think it will display the taste of the food. It was so terrible that I started worrying for the people that I saw going in the place, and some even brought their kids as I waited to pick up my food. The worst part is I can’t even describe the bad taste of the food….I wanna say it’s the quality of the actual meat, but that’s not it… it’s as if the cook purposely cooked it bad because the taste was horrid, and seriously, how do you even mess up mash potatoes? There was no cream or milk in it at all like they literally mashed the actual potato
The roasted corns were a joke…. they were so hard and raw like they were half microwaved. I didn’t even wanna throw them away in the trash i wanted to flush them smh. The mac n cheese was different, like one of the orders had cheddar on it and the other just bland. Overall, the food tasted as if it was half cooked and stored somewhere, and then as ppl ordered, they half microwaved it and served it. I walk in to pick up my food and right away a big puddle of black water right by the door and then the filth of the place is on another level from the ripped chairs at the bar to the dirty glass on the front door….I don’t know how it’s still open. Are health inspectors not a thing anymore? I found a piece of plastic in the mac n cheese and called for a refund and the manager was very nice and explained to me that I was gonna get a call back to get the refund so we’ll see how that goes but Anyways PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE if you value your health.

Pretty decent place, waitress was really nice, catered to our needs, talked with my mom, which was awesome! Admittedly, they forgot multiple sauces that we’d asked for, and the ribs were kind of lukewarm. Regardless, we did come around the time it was closing, so I can’t hold them too accountable over that. Still could’ve been better.

I came in recently and had such a great experience at Ruby Tuesday! The food was solid as always, but what really stood out was the service. Our bartender, Alexis, was awesome super friendly, attentive, and really knew her stuff. She made great drink recommendations and kept the vibe upbeat the whole time. You can tell she genuinely cares about her customers and enjoys what she does.
It’s rare to find that kind of energy in a chain restaurant, but she made the visit feel personal and fun. Definitely coming back here again soon Ruby Tuesday needs more people like her behind the bar!

Got served uncooked salmon and the manager on shift with bright red hair came over, I told her I was alittle nervous since I ate some of the fish, and she went “What? You’ve never had sushi before?” With a stank tone… Girl, sushi is prepared and intended to eat raw, when you eat fish that’s only partially cooked and raw in the middle you can get very sick. If that was the case no one would ever get sick eating raw fish. Gross attitude.
