If you love cheese sticks, try this blend of melted cheeses baked in a skillet with tomato basil sauce topped with Parmesan crumbs.

My wife and I have been here three times since the remodel. First visit we ordered a steak and the catfish platter. They were ok but the portion sizes were very small (and the steak was very thin).

Gave it another try on a Thursday for the smashburger/salad bar special. The smashburgers were excellent. We split a Chocolate Chip Skillet for desert and it was a great dessert. The meal completely made up for the disappointing first visit.

Our third visit was tonight and it was not good at all. My wife ordered another smashburger but was disappointed because it was very over-cooked and dry. I ordered the Five-Cheese Cheesesteak and it was the worst Cheesesteak I’ve ever been served. Take a look at the attached picture to see what came out of the kitchen (and keep in mind that a lot of what looks like steak is actually burnt cheese and onions). Tiny portions and very overcooked. The only saving grace was that I ordered the queso on the side so it wasn’t burnt. I would be embarrassed to serve that to a customer.

Service was very good all three visits. If you go, right now all we can recommend are the smashburger/salad bar special (hopefully you’ll get a good one and not something that’s overcooked.) We may be back, but it will probably be a while.

New look is bright clean and welcoming. Great view of the town. Savanah was knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. We will come back… PS our 13 year old son loved the triple play. I liked the Scampi and the Cookie Skillet of course!

Went here for dinner and was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious! Wendy took care of us and was so pleasant and eager for us to have the best time. Her meal recommendations were fabulous and her foreseeing all of our needs made for a truly enjoyable evening. Definitely will return.

We’ve lived in New Freedom for over 8 yrs and have eaten at Ruby Tuesday plenty of times. In that time, there’s been two waitresses we’ve had that’s been rockstars; Emily (no longer there but always had color in her hair and nails done) and currently, Chloey P. Chloey is extremely personable, outgoing, funny yet professional, and makes you feel like one of her friends coming in for a visit. Our daughter has celiac disease and she was very attentive to her dietary restrictions. She made sure our orders were correct and checked on us numerous times. The world, let alone Ruby Tuesday, needs more Chloey’s!!

Was pleased after not being there for years. My biggest complaint is $5.00 for a 12oz Miller lite draft is too expensive.

We visited the Ruby Tuesday in New Freedom 12/31 and had a very disappointing experience. To be fair, our waitress had a large group and we completely understood that she was busy. We were patient and understanding.

However, when she finally checked on us and we let her know that our appetizer still had not come out, we expected her to follow up with the kitchen or notify a manager to correct the issue. Instead, we watched her grab her coat and go outside for a smoke break.

At that point, we had to get up ourselves and speak with the manager to explain what was going on. The manager did apologize and gave us a discount, which we appreciated — but is that really the solution? A discount doesn’t replace basic communication or accountability.

The issue wasn’t just the missing appetizer, it was the lack of follow-through and professionalism. We left feeling frustrated and disappointed, and it’s not an experience that makes us eager to return.

We come here for lunch. It’s our favorite place, Donna is the best! She always knows what we like. Donna is so friendly and a wonderful bar tender. She’s great with refills and awesome food suggestions.

I would say that this location needs to be updated badly. The seats are ripped and several of the shades are missing. This area is growing quickly, and it will need to accommodate the amount of traffic that is already here and what is to come. Business will not come of the place looks like it is falling apart. Our server Amanda was very nice and helpful assisting us make a decision on what we wanted to eat.

Shannon was absolutely amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Our drinks were always full, the food came out quickly, and she checked in just the right amount. She truly made our experience enjoyable. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have her again.
We also love the new look at Rubies — it feels fresh, updated, and has such a great vibe!
