I have been to this location a few times a few years ago and the experience was exactly the same. I didn’t leave a review before because all place have bad days. But here am I coming back 2 years later and its exactly the same!!
First. The good reviews.
The food was VERY good. Very tasty.
Salad bar is amazing
Our waiter, Nehemi I believe, was very helpful and very attentive.

The place was absolutely disgusting!! Dirty tables everywhere, all around us. It is not very pleasant eat while seeing that. Our table was not clean nether!! All greasy and sticky.
We saw the server passing by the empty tables full of dirty plates like if they were not seeing. I do know that every server has a different task. But damn. If you have empty hands and you are going back to the kitchen why not grab some cups or plates?? common sense
The hostess was SO SLOW and not very informative. She just make us wait like if we weren’t there lol No sense of urgency! We got there and had 3 families waiting to be seated. One family asked if was a waiting time for a table And she answered so calm “no”. And there was she walking around.
The menus were all ripped and dirty.
This place is CLEARLY understaffed. I dont know if is there a manager. And the servers really need a better training.
All the 3 times i been there have been the same experience.
I will not be coming back and I don’t recommend this place!

I hadn’t been to a Ruby Tuesday in years and I just remember it being a whole lot better than this experience. The angry orchard boneless wings & the fried mushrooms were the best out of everything tried. The chicken quesadilla was so greasy and they don’t even make fresh pico de gallo for it anymore.
The mai tai was fine.
Even the waiter, He was coming off as distracted, just bored and over it. Completely done, no interest.
He kept looking off & turning away.
Would i come back? Probably not.
I’ll keep the memory of the first experience I had years ago.

Ruby Tuesday’s is a hidden gem. Took the time to enjoy a meal in Newark and Claudia and Nehemiah provided quality service. The whole team is amazing! The food is great and the prices are affordable. Offering daily specials is a perk when considering food options as well as their endless salad bar! If it’s just you plus two or a group, visit Ruby Tuesday’s. If you’re heading to the one in Elizabeth, NJ let them know I sent ya and they’ll take care of you. Bon appetite!

Absolutely perfect. My server was so friendly and upbeat. I think her name was Claudia, amazing woman and best server I’ve had by far. She introduced me to the salad bar and it was so many options to choose from! 10/10, definitely eating here again!

Jason gave us great Service. Will probably come again buy the food was just Ok. My burger wasn’t cooked fresh. Yes, cooking to order beats reheating a burger every time. The Ribs were not good. If no one has the desire, just go with tender Chuck Roast with garlic Mash. Way better but maybe you sell the ribs? Idk, just a suggestion. I remember your burger with the 3 meats and it was . I did enjoy the time spent at your establishment. They are also no fee credit card users

Heading out for a cruise and arrived a day early. Only two restaurants nearby so we picked Rudy Tuesday. Atmosphere and service were very good, food was good, just not a lot. I had the catfish platter, my wife the ribeye steak. Definitely would do the catfish again,even though it’s a small serving . Very good. Steak was ok. Service was excellent.
