I had a cheeseburger with cheese curds and bacon on it. It was excellent. I also had their chili soup which was pretty good. Lastly, I had their raspberry cheesecake. That was delicious as well.

We were told to check this place out last weekend. We did and all I can say is everything was top notch, the service, the food, the cleanliness and atmosphere. The back ground music was 70’s rock which was perfect for the clientele at the time. From the time we ordered it took less than 10 minutes to be served. And the food wasn’t just warm, it was hot! We both left Satisfied and will be back.

My family and I have been coming to Ruby May’s consistently since it opened a number of years ago. Although we have a place on Post Lake we are from Southern California. Not only is this restaurant an extremely valuable asset to the area we now hear they are considering other locations. We wish them nothing but the very best with their next step. If the food, the oh so friendly service and the compelling ambiance are anything like the original I’m certain it will be a fantastic success. Love this little cafe!!! it’s pretty small but super kind people and great food. we stopped here on our way back from vacation because we were hungry and there weren’t many other choices around. best meal we had on our whole vacation! everyone was very pleased with their order. nice and clean. waitress was extremely nice. definitely recommend!!!!

Small little place up north that is only open 6am to 2pm most days. Family owned and operated. Had vacation land in the area we were selling and this would be our last trip up this way. First time we had stopped. Told us that we were the last customer of the day and that out food was on the house. Yummy food and served in a timely manner by friendly waitress/ owners daughter? We said thank you very much for paying for our lunch and let them a $100 tip. Just paying it forward! To the family who runs this place??? Keep being u!!!

This place is definitely top notch and not your typical cafe in the north woods. Their presentation, flavor, service, cute atmosphere, quality of food and cleanliness is way above most places I have been in the area. Ruby May’s is a gem!
