Ruby donut offers a delicious assortment of donuts at an affordable price. This gentlemen works seven days a week delivering top notch fritters, jelly filled, Boston cream, old fashion and of course glazed donuts. Most of the time the donuts are still warm. He is located in the same spot as Ayer’s once famous Pam’s Donuts (circa 1970’s). Give it a try. You will not be disappointed

This place has coffee, donuts, breakfast sandwiches, kolaches, and bubble tea, and the donuts are where they really shine. They’ve got that nice delicate crispy crust, soft and slightly chewy middle, and fresh fillings and toppings. The apple fritters are especially good. And, on top of all this, their prices are very reasonable for the high quality.

I read that Ruby Donut is the best donut shop in Massachusetts and I was not disappointed!
I decided to go early, so there was only about a dozen different options, but they were still bringing them out from the back; I tried 6 different types and they are all exceptional.
If you’re like me and have only eaten chain donuts your entire life, you’re going to be spoiled by the softest, most amazing donuts ever.

Been here a few times but this last time was just not what ‘we’ think we would get from Ruby donuts.
Flavors we ok, I only have chocolate frosted.
Chocolate was super sweet, but the donut was amazing!! Kids didn’t care they ate them all.
But in the donut case many donuts that were 1/2 of a donut and many were very off shape and size of the donuts were all over the place. The guy who we ordered from was super friendly and even threw in a few donut holes in for the little kids.
We will go again and update the review.

Delicious, fresh doughnuts! Crispy outside with soft, fluffy interior. Glazes and toppings were tasty and creative: we tried a maple glaze, cinnamon crunch (the best!), Boston cream, chocolate glaze with sprinkles, old fashioned with chocolate glaze, and chocolate cake doughnut with coconut. Wonderful texture, without that weird greasy mouthfeel that the Big Chain’s doughnuts produce.
We also tried the taro bubble tea: tea had great flavor and color, but the boba was some other non-chewy kind (similar to lychee jelly I’ve had elsewhere), not tapioca.
There are bathrooms (complete with giant mixer storage) and a little bit of seating (2 tables/chairs). Also some merchandise for sale (coffee cups, sweatshirts, etc.) in a somewhat cluttered area next to the seating.
Well-deserved reputation!
