This place just opened for about a month. It is very great. Decoration is decent and exotic, which is much better than picture. food is delicious. It is during restaurant week, but we pick ours from manual. For most people, one starter + one entrée are more than enough. We are not that hungry. It is enough for two of us. It is my first Indian dinner, but my GF said much more delicious than what she had before. Although it is little bit salty and spicy, but I would definitely give a thumb up.
It is a place recommended to come multiple times. We was planning to do so during eating, hahaha. There is no liquor license yet, but the manager said it is coming soon.

People are very nice there. Food is good BUT….. My order was for pick up not delivery. There were only 4 tables of guests at the restaurant. I ordered a saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, garlic naan and two mango lassi to go. Standard Indian dishes that most non Indians would order. Took them 1 hrs to get the food ready. Price tag almost $50. Great Neck Price? I have three stars more for speed.

If you enjoy Indian food, than Ruby’s is a must have spot. The food is great, not heavily seasoned, and reasonably priced. The lunch buffet option is my recommendation for anyone’s first time visit, as it will allow you to get the most variety and see what you like, and it’s definitely the best value for the quality of food served. Aside from the food, the service is excellent. The staff is very friendly, and the host frequently checks on all guest to see how everyone’s dining experience is going. Support this family run restaurant in the heart of Great Neck. It is located around the block from the train station so feel free to invite friends from the city and meet them at Ruby’s.

Ruby’s is a very good restaurant with quick, pleasant service. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious and freshly made from the naan to the Tandoori chicken. It adds some much needed diversity to Great Neck’s restaurants.
