I came out this way just to have a little camping getaway, decided to go for a nighttime cruise with some good friends and stumbled upon this place by complete accident. The service, the patrons, and the overall atmosphere was simply phenomenal. I will certainly be back next time I decide to camp up the street. Definitely an 11 out of 10 experience overall.

Fun fact; a small French Canadian film, “Falcon Lake” filmed mainly in Quebec, had a lead character wearing a red Ruby Creek Tavern shirt. Viewable on Tubi..

Nice place with friendly staff. Food was good – pizza, fries, jalapeño balls and burger was all tasty. Keno, touch tunes and sports on the several tv’s.

This is a very small and friendly bar. We love the Friday night all you can eat fish. It’s just a nice little getaway to have a quick bite to eat. The people are very friendly the service is great. They put on several events for the veterans which I think is wonderful. The gentleman and the pictures is 92 years old and served in our military and was a pilot. One of the men that was with him in their Journey while fighting for our country have wrote a book and the name of that is called Red Tail Captured, Red Tail Free. Memoirs of a Tuskegee Airman and POW. By ALEXANDER JEFFERSON ( LT. COL., USFA,RET.) WITH LEWIS H. CARLSON. This is a book I would highly recommend reading.

I love the small places, you get great service all the time, there was 1 lady working during the time we were there and she was making a pizza, she was talking to us from the back and she made us feel like regulars that come in all the time. She needs a raise!! Good service ! Great food! A definitive go back to when we go back that direction

Ordered a pizza and deep fried asparagus to go. When I picked it up they automatically charged me a 15% gratuity on my take out order. When I put our order in the car I opened the box of deep fried asparagus and that’s all it was. NO BATTER OR BREADING. I tried to take it back the cook or what ever she was was very rude. And told me I could not. Just plain nasty about it. Pic of what they think deep fried asparagus is. What a joke. I see you didn’t say anything about the 15% gratuity I was charged for a take out order.

Food was okay, but the places cluttered and bathrooms were disgusting. Took 45 minutes just to make a order and nearly an hour to get our food and 30 minutes just to have to walk up and request the check. Our waitress took off and lost our bill. The pop had a moldy taste to it. Also atleast 10 orders were taken before ours that came in after us. Rude staff as well. Place should not be serving food or pass any food safety checks..Avoid if possible.

First time out to Ruby Creek was New Years. The people were welcoming, not like some taverns and bars where you’re only welcomed if you’re a regular. They had an amazing fireworks display, better than some 4th of July fireworks around us. The only issue was how crowded it was, but that’s good for business.
