I read the reviews while sitting at the table with my friend but we had the best service! Danielle felt like family, and the hostess had a cast on her arm but you couldn’t tell. Both were so very attentive and always moving, making sure we wanted for nothing. The lavender coffee was delicious! My friend has the brisket skillet and they were not stingy, she had to take the rest home. I have the omelette and had to do the same. They give great portion sizes and the presentation is very satisfying. The cranberry/pineapple mimosas are good but on your way out the door try the lavender coffee with almond milk (vanilla) when you go, it’s a whole vibe! My friend said the salted caramel coffee was good too☝ .

Tennessee has got to do better when it comes to food. I’m the least picky eater in the world, but this was truly so bad I couldn’t finish it. That’s happened maybe twice in my life. How can you ruin Eggs Benedict? And sweet potato fries? The atmosphere is meh with lots of harsh light, the service is a little chaotic though the waitresses were nice and polite, but the food was truly abysmal.

When we were being seated at 9:45 am, the hostess made a point of mentioning that our table was reserved for 11:30. In other words, hurry up and eat because others need your table? The place was half empty. However, our server, Hailey, was absolutely fabulous! The Green Fried Tomatoes were delicious as well as my daughter’s Apple Pie French Toast. Too bad that the brisket in my Brisket Skillet was dry and very fatty.

I’ve come here for brunch only to be met with an hour wait time for a table. This happened twice before, but third time’s the charm!

I’ve heard great things about this place so I was happy that it worked out this time. Inside was full so we were seated outside under the shaded area. It was nice outside.

The Neighbor Burger was incredible. The wagyu patties were thicker than I imagined, hearty, and great. The caramelized onions were amazing and that secret sauce? Amazing. It was a light sauce that complemented the burger so well. And that side of sweet potato fries were great too. I loved everything I ate.

Service was excellent, the waitresses were helpful and swung by our table a couple of times. I felt like the wait time for our food wasn’t so bad. Prices are reasonable too. I have no complaints. We had such a great time and I look forward to coming back here.

Our office ordered this to go for the first time and the food was great! I got the Reuben skillet which was excellent except next time I’d get extra sauce. The others got the Notorious P.I.G. And garden skillets. I tried a bite of each and I loved the gravy on the notorious and the avocado on the garden. All great choices.

We went here yesterday for my husbands birthday brunch with family. We made a reservation and arrived on time. We were seated quickly and greeted quickly. Savanna was our server and did a fantastic job. All our food and drink choices were very good. As a vegan and the picky eater out of the bunch I was definitely surprised how well everything was. Will definitely be back.

I really would like to give this place a higher rating. Maybe it was an off day. It stays busy and lots of folks like it.

I had a smash burger that was supposed to be brisket and wagyu – so you’d think juicy. That was not what I got. It looked good on the plate but it was tough, dry and barely warm. Didn’t taste so good either.

We had two orders of chicken and waffles and it looked great. But two things – they put a sweet potato “glaze” with maple and bacon on. It wasn’t a glaze but a thick heavy mush spread all over the waffle. Ruined it for my daughter, which is sad.

Add to this that we had a reservation for 11:45 and didn’t get seated until 12:10. And pretty many other folks were taken before us.

I would go back.

Well I’m sad to say I just received the worst breakfast service ever. Brought hubs for Christmas Eve breakfast and it took over 20 minutes to get pancakes and the PIG bowl. The problem wasn’t so much the wait. We expected hot food since we waited so long but that didn’t happen. One of the waitresses even touched it and confirmed. The pancakes didn’t come out with the cold food and looked divine but at that point we were over it. I was ignored by a group of waitresses while trying to figure out why we were still waiting when a couple who arrived after us had food. We sat long enough that a couple who had no food, got there food, ate their food, paid and left. The gravy had a still to it from sitting so long. Ummm.. my husband feels it because we are black. I’ve supported Wine Down for years and hate that this was the service for the morning. I’ll retreat back to 1885. This was bad. Then to make matters worse the manager said she could bag it up for us to take as if we needed the cold breakfast as a charity case. Just bad. And we were hungry. To Mean Mug Coffee we go…..

I travel through the area quite often. I’ve been wanting to stop here. Well, yesterday was my birthday and my wife was with me. And I said, why not. From the moment we walked in, we were treated like we were bothering them. Should’ve been the first clue. They sat us and somebody took our drink order. Then somebody took our food order, and somebody else brought us our food. And then we got ignored, we asked for a few things, and they just wouldn’t bring them, and then we asked again, and they just wouldn’t bring them again, things like Butter for our bread and ketchup, we Couldn’t even get refills. I’m not sure what we did to make anybody upset there, but we were trying to have a good time and make the best of it, I was trying to enjoy my birthday, and it just wasn’t an enjoyable experience. If the service had been better, it would have made the experience a million times better. I never leave a bad tip, but they the way we were treated was wrong, I hope no one else has an experience like ours.

I cannot say how much I love this place enough. My family is tired of hearing about Neighbor of Wine Down. The food is absolutely amazing! Chef’s Burrito is my absolute favorite. Drinks are awesome and wonderfully crafted. Service is absolutely on point with the sweetest servers I’ve ever had. Atmosphere is so relaxing whether it be inside or outside. Give this place a chance. It will be one of your favorite(of not all- time favorite) brunch joint!
