This particular location had some trouble a little while back, maybe 6 months ago. At that time I was very upset with how slow everything was and how long it took to get my food (over an hour on multiple occasions). But I can say 100% that they have solved that problem. I’ve been 3-4 times in the last couple months and had a MUCH better experience. Everything went smoothly, quickly, and easily. Which is what most people want for a fast-casual restaurant like this. Food is always good and consistent. 5 stars.

Where else can you get good tasting, healthy, fast-foods anymore but at Rubio’s coastal Grill? The service here is way above par; friendly and attentive. They also do a very good job to make the place inviting to sit and eat, and they keep the floors, tables and salsa bar clean! Best salsa bar around. We need more Rubio’s! Get the App, you regularly get promo discount offers, and cuts down on the wait time. Combos as low as $7.

I was picking up an online order & was greeted by the manager – he looked really sharp & professional. Right away he checked on my order & even though I arrived early. It was ready within the next three minutes. * it wasn’t due to be ready for another 6 mins. The manager was moving really quick and looked to be very efficient. The store was immaculately clean, and there was an ease to the flow at each area of the restaurant – Salsa bar soft drink area and the dining area was spotless.
Without me asking, he offered me a drink carrier, which was really helpful as I was picking up a meal for 2 by myself.
The other folks coming in and out while I was still in my car before I came in, and while I was inside, the restaurant seemed very pleased with their experience also.
My dad and I enjoyed our Baja fish tacos and steak tacos and what a deal for taco Tuesday $2.50 on the Baja tacos and $3 for the steak tacos (each) Great Value!
Food was spot on delicious and still warm once I got home 17 minutes later.
I really wish your Seal Beach location was still open. It was handier for us to go there to that location.
But I’m thankful for the Goldenwest Huntington Beach location
This is my first time trying it out and I’m very pleased. I’ll be back highly recommend this Rubio’s to folks.

A couple months ago I wrote this same location a terrible review. The service was awful, I waited over an hour for my food. And some things came out wrong.
This time could not be more different. There was a manager at the store keeping everyone moving quickly, keeping everything clean, keeping the kitchen working efficiently. I hope this is a change in management that lasts and will result in a better restaurant. After last time I wasn’t sure I’d be back, but my wife had a birthday coupon. Now I’m glad we went today because we may start visiting what historically was one of our favorite “quick casual” type restaurants.

This is one of the last 2-3 chains that still offers a salsa bar and Rubio’s salsas are all really good. Their Chicken tortilla soup is also excellent and I highly recommend it.

Although I thought the tacos I got (the classic taco trio) were just okay, the service and atmosphere were phenomenal. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming, and the restaurant was very spacious and very clean. My plate only cost about $9, so it was pretty much well worth it.

This was an overall great experience at Rubio’s. You really can’t go wrong with their fish tacos and delicious assortment of fresh salsas.

When Rubio opened up there first eatery in Soca the fish batter taco were awesome ..
not so much now haven’t been to a Rubio in a while the fish batter was way over cooked some bites were just batter the tortillas were cold not even bendable barely any flavor will not be back
