Saw an Adds for fish n chips for this place so we went to try it. They have others seafood selection of grilled and fried seafood here. Have tried the fish taco and it was good. Make sure to eat it there since it will lose the crunchiness. The fish n chip was good and a bit salty. It came with 2 small pieces of fried fish and a boy 20-25 pieces of fries. The portion is a bit small but it was good to try it. They have a good salsas bar. Different hot sauce to try with the fish or seafood tacos. Their indoor and outdoor seating areas are very pleasant. Walk up the counter to order and they will bring the food out to your table.

Went to Rubio’s for the beer battered fish tacos and was not disappointed, my wife and I both ordered the two tacos and a drink for $7.00 (best deal out there). The tacos had a great beer batter crunch that was complimented with the shredded cabbage and roasted Chipotle salsa. We also like that Rubio’s has cleaned up in the last year, windows and tables are clean, nice shaded outside seating area and clean restrooms. Just the best place for beer battered fish tacos.

Ive had a bad experience here before, but thought maybe now after a while its better. Well, needless to say it was not. I ordered a lobster burrito and a fish taco, and soda. It came out to $30 thats crazy!! The only good thing here is the staff. Staff is very nice and welcoming. Not only is it way too expensive, but the burrito was small and tasted horrible. The lobster tasted how cigarettes smell. I won’t be coming back here.

The food is always good consistent here.The problem with the Laverne location is the gym in the same parking lot.Doesn’t leave much room for parking to eat at Rubio’s.The stars aligned this visit and I was able to get food there. I would eat there more.We used to eat their most Tuesdays, but it’s hard to get a parking space.The city of laverne has not been very good with the parking situation.

The tacos here are really good. I ordered the two-taco plate with chicken and steak, which came with rice and beans. The only downside was that the portions of rice and beans were very small. I also placed a to-go order, and it unfortunately took around 20 minutes for the tacos to be ready. Other than that, the food itself was excellent.

When I walked in, it was like any other good experience? That’s until I came back to my job because I went on my break. To pick up the food of course I’m thinking that everything is good. I’ve never had a problem with any other Rubios. In my opinion it’s pretty pricey but the food is worth it. If its $40 for 3 dishes, I expect them to be perfect. My boss is the one that paid but this dish was for her. I couldn’t go back and take it back because my lunch was already over. My boss took off the burnt parts and then she ate it and after She had to go to the restroom almost 3 times in 30 minutes. What’s I’m pretty sure. That meant that she got food poisoning. It might be the last time I go to this one. Because what’s the point of it being pricey if they can’t even get it right?
