What a really cool Phoenix location for Rubio’s ❤️ I usually go to the one on Bell road but I was in the area and decided to stop at this one, WOW what a great Rubio’s ❤️ The food was fresh and fast and the place was really clean even though it was during the lunch rush hour.
Shout out to JoJo the cashier she was great ❤️ she was friendly, helpful and very personable ❤️ Even though it’s right on McDowell road with the high traffic, it’s very quiet and peaceful inside the restaurant ❤️

We selected Rubio’s before coming to town, based on the fish tacos reputation. We are not very picky and enjoy visiting new places. But, the fish tacos were mostly tasteless and bland. Bright spot was JOHNEEN, who was friendly and helpful for us as first time Rubio’s visitors. I had a coastal trio, and she had the two mahi plate. It may have been just an off day for them.

Had the 99-cent fish taco special today and they were great as usual. They have cherry-vanilla coke on tap as well (my favorite coke flavor).Great service . My only complaint was there was no way to schedule my order through the app, so I wqs afraid the tortillas would be soaked through by the time we got to the restaurant. Luckily, the corn tortillas Rubios uses don’t seem prone to absorbing liquid from the toppings.

This restaurant is always good…tho everywhere I go it taste different and the food is made different. Ordered a shrimp burrito was very good but was over loaded with rice.. was good only had 4 shrimps in the burrito.. service was great and priced reasonable

Love taco Tuesday at Rubio’s. The salsa bar is kept very clean. If I had a correction to make I’d have some plastic bags by the salsa bar so you can bag a few limes and jalapenos when you get your food to go. Otherwise the store is beautiful. The staff is friendly and the food is delicious.

Haven’t eaten one of these in over 13 years, since I lived in CA. Visiting PHX and had to order my go to fish taco on taco Tuesday. I used to buy these for $1 lol but now they 2.50. Still excellent except I made the mistake of forgetting to ask for flour tortillas. I guess I’ll have to come back!
