Rubee’s seems to be THE PLACE to “Bee”. We got seated straight away but they very quickly filled up while we were ordering. Our food didn’t get to us very quickly but it was definitely worth the wait and gave us time to take in all the fun decor’. If you’re passing this way and you’re not in a huge hurry I would absolutely recommend dropping in to Ru”Bee’s” hive.

Given previous reviews, I expected the food to be good but was cautiously optimistic. Arriving early afternoon, we decided breakfast sounded good. OMG! I had the chorizo burrito (with green chilis) and LOVED it. The size was perfect (not the huge ‘as big as your head’ size) but well portioned. Husband had the omelet (bacon) which he said tasted like real eggs (iykyk) and had lots of bacon and the hashbrowns came just like he likes them – crispy.

Great diner food! We had the Green huevos rancheros & French toast egg sandwich, really good food! Typical diner seating, folks were friendly. Will be back if passing through Tuc again.

Had the Rubees melt and tater tot’s with green chili and cheese. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! We shared and it was plenty for the both of us! Highly recommended eating here when you drive through!

I didn’t stop here during my time in Tucumcari, but there is mural near this location that is awesome and emotionally moving. The roaring animal heads, the hissing snakes and the look of shame on the boy’s face are perfectly done. I spent several moments here reflecting on childhood memories that I can relate to in the Mural. Bravo to whomever painted it.

I just paid $12 no $13 for two pieces of bread like regular pieces of bread they called it French toast burnt not fluffy with three pieces of the skinniest bacon I’ve ever seen it was pretty much beef jerky

They brought breakfast to my car. I was staying at a motel down the road. Not a lot of choices in town really but it was a decent meal. Little pricey for 4 scrambled eggs, 2 sausage patties and toast , $15, but like I said above consider the situation.
