This restaurant was recommended to us and we went for lunch on our daughter’s birthday. What an absolute delight! We were warmly welcomed, promptly served and the food was not only a work of art to look at but delicious and probably one of the best Thai meals I remember. Highly recommend!

Firstly, the ambience of this restaurant is really authentic and calming, making it a great place to sit and spend some time enjoying food. Secondly, I really regret ordering takeout; after entering the restaurant, I felt like opting for dine-in, but it was too late.
We ordered a portion of thick panang curry (hot) with chicken and two portions of jasmine rice. The curry already comes with a portion of jasmine rice (though it should’ve had a lot more jasmine flavor), and we also ordered a portion of egg fried rice, which is tasty. Finally, I had a good experience! It’s worth trying.
A special note for the lovely lady who greeted us with a pretty smile, as she contributed to my good first impression of the place.

This restaurant has been excellent every time we have been- over at least a 20 year period. Not sure if its been the same owners all that time but everything seems consistantly good- the ambiance, service, food portions and quality, price reasonable for the high standards. Even the coffee was very good. Thankyou again for another lovely all round experience. One of our top 10 venues for sure .

Called in at the end of the evening without booking. The friendly helpful staff gave us a table as long as we ordered quickly, although they didn’t rush us, as it was nearly the end of service. We had prawn crackers and veggie tempura to start, penang hot thick prawn curry and jasmine rice, veggie Thai green curry with sticky rice. It arrived quickly was really fresh and tasty. Thank you

Although the service and atmosphere are good, I was disappointed with what I had: Pad Thai (with chicken). It was too sweet and I couldn’t taste any savoury notes or tamarind. Also there were no beansprouts. Fine green beans were used instead. The beansprouts would have helped to counteract the sweetness of this dish. Interestingly lots of reviews mention how wonderful the Pad Thai is so perhaps it’s me.
