I’ve been ordering sushi from Ru San’s for years through UberEats. Many times there have been issues with small details/special instructions not being followed.

However, whoever the sushi chef was on Wednesday, Dec 3, keep them because this is the best quality it’s ever been across the board 10/10 — this chef nailed it. Please keep them around — thanks.

Grabbed some takeout for dinner and it was ready super fast! I ordered the Chirashi sushi rice bowl and was honestly shocked by how much fish they include. You get a great variety and it was all incredibly fresh.

Food was great, but what really made our visit outstanding was our server. He was incredibly attentive, offered excellent suggestions, and joked around with us just enough to make the experience fun. He truly elevated our meal — overall, a wonderful dining experience!

Even though the place looked a bit outdated at first, the food tastes amazing.
We love the Tootsie Roll and the Tuna Symphony — highly recommend trying them.
Timing can vary; sometimes you have to wait a while, especially when it’s busy.

I was looking for sushi and boy did I strike gold finding this place. The restaurant is almost 30 mins away from my house and worth every minute and every dime I spend. No sweet tea, or ranch for the salad dressing but sushi is A1! 10/10 and affordable with plenty of parking and seating.

Noisy but plenty of cheap sushi and delcious. Be cautious these are big pieces, no matter which you get. If you normally get 2 flavors per person at other places, stick to one here. We had to s of leftovers. The fried calamari was plentiful for the price but was chewy and flavorless without the dip. Sushi was delicious. Appreciate the atlanta b/c could actually take the fish. Wait time was short, and the service was attentive. We will def come back again.

Got steak fried rice and miso. For the price you get plenty of fried rice, it did catch me off guard how peppery it is. It wasn’t overpowering but definitely noticeable. The miso was a little lacking, it mostly just tastes like tofu.

I quite like ru sans. The worst part about the place is trying to decide what to order, the menu is so long and all the rolls look good! Ordered out this time- the green dragon and new moon. I liked the green dragon best. My partner ordered a few simpler and rolls and all were fresh and delicious. She also was looking forward to the inari sushi but it was forgotten. That’s always a bummer when that happens.

Late review but went for lunch a few months ago and had great service from James? I believe, who had good recommendations and invited me to order the surprise roll. I told them what elements I wanted and the chefs made me a DELICIOUS roll that was flavorful. I’ve ordered takeout from here too and it’s always good. I’m a loyal customer!

I grew up on this spot. It was probably the first places I ever had sushi. So its a comfort food for me whenever I’m in Charlotte.

It really hasn’t evolved since I went here during high-school but the sushi scene in Charlotte definitely has (hell, in the entire US). This is still a great place to get various rolls, but when you dive into the sashimi and nigiri its fine, but not nearly as nice as some other local spots.

The staff is great, the location is huge, and you’ll get your food fast. A great place to hang out and share food.
