My husband and I seen this restaurant on an episode of True South that airs on the SEC Network. We traveled there today to give it a try and we’re so glad we did. Miss Anita is an amazing individual and truly loves what she does and has a heart of gold. The energy she gives off made my heart overflow with happiness. Her staff was friendly and kind as well. The food was true southern goodness and was very very delicious. Thank you for sending us home with a full belly and heart as well.

This place is truely a lil’ gem hid on a corner! My hubby and I drove over today from Russell Springs and it did not disappoint!! The cheap price point was unbelievable …Anita and her staff are truly Ahhhmazing ❤️ we will deff be back soon!

Very good old school open pit BBQ. Sauce is very thin BBQ dip with little or no tomato. Cooked cabbage is excellent. Prices are dirt cheap for authentic BBQ.

Boy, did I want to eat here today, but extensive repair/renovation is taking place! The workers told me they should re-open in 1-2 weeks. Alas, it’s quite a drive from my home in Chattanooga.I’m giving it 5 stars on faith!

Stopped by for lunch and was not disappointed. Excellent service. Nice folks. Had the Chicken plate with vinegar coleslaw, cabbage and green beans. The chicken was pretty good 4/5 – The white meat was a tad overdone but typical almost everywhere as the thighs and dark meat must be cooked all the way through. The Green Beans were the best 5/5 – Could eat those all day. The cabbage was overcooked (no texture at all…too mushy) but had a good flavor 3/5 and the Vinegar Coleslaw had a nice sweet tang to it 3/5 – Not for everyone with the strong vinegar flavor. Overall I’ll be back for the chicken and green beans if nothing else.

Cannot say enough good about this place and the lovely owner! Amazing hospitality and food to go with it! Me and 2 of my coworkers stopped in for our lunch break while working here out of town. Went to order and realized they were not accepting cards at that moment. The owner fed us anyway free of charge. Her exact words were “I can’t let you men leave here hungry”. If I would leave a million stars I absolutely would. THANK YOU for feeding us today, and putting some positivity back into your community!
