1st I asked for no sauce I’m not a sauce fan! I was told they put sauce on I said can I have sauce on the side No! They put the sauce on, I got a food boat full of sauce I’m hungry now and I didn’t finish!

I drove from Coral Springs to get bbq ribs dinner that barely had sauce on them and the chicken with the ribs dinner was dry the chicken was old for sure like left over maybe from the day before only thing was worth it was the collard greens and baked beans the rest I gave to the dog.
Lesson learned !!!!

I traveled to Florida for two days over the past weekend. On Sunday I was craving soul food , so I found this place on Google. It was a little tricky for us to find because it’s in the back but let me tell you they did not disappoint starting with the girl who was at the register , she was the most sweetest, informative , professional, and she had patience. She helped me select some of my options and it was soooooo good. I’m a very picky eater and when I like something I want to constantly go back. I was so disappointed that they were closed Monday and Tuesday I would’ve liked to get some more food before I left Florida. But I will definitely be back and I told all my girls that live out there.

Everything was delicious the ribs were tender and seasoned well had the sauce on the side it was delicious as well, loved the season on the fries and shrimp, the baked beans were good too. For my personal taste I would like a pinch more sweetness to the corn muffin and for the potato salad to be the same size cup as the other sides, also the entrance is in the back I passed it twice because I couldn’t find it

First off they’re located in the back of the building which is fine the issue is I ordered a rib dinner which comes with 2 sides and a corn bread they originally gave me the wrong order they gave me 2 shrimp plates my husband went back and informed them the front desk lady caught an attitude and said they can’t take the food back and next time we should check our order as if the restaurant who made the food should’ve doubled checked the order. The ribs were small and dry the barbecue and was delicious the collard greens were dry and un flavorful the macaroni was dry with no flavor for $17.00 it’s definitely not worth it 1/10

As once upon a time this was one of my go to unfortunately it’s not anymore I decided to give them another try today since I was in the area I still see no improvement I wonder what’s going on, if this business is struggling or something the lack of portion and business and cleanliness of the interior. Unfortunately at this time I won’t be returning to this place again the food was not it, however the cup cakes was very delicious, unfortunately I don’t enjoy leaving upsetting reviews but I believe management need to do it and re-look at how business is running and the quality of the food, I will be lowering my stars from 3 to 1 if I could get zero I would use. Updated photo of my $20 plate with about 2 ribs and pieces when sides included.
My last review the business did comment back and say the prices are going up but that does not mean lessen the plate! I pray this business does better and come out of the struggle they are in; has potential
Seems like if you get the ribs/chicken dinner you don’t get much meat. Food is good but I don’t be getting that dinner anymore it will either be chicken or ribs.. don’t receive $20 worth of food!

Mac and Cheese was okay. Baked beans wonderful. I’ll give the wings a 8/10. Only because the honey garlic wasn’t really there the way I wanted it to be, wanted the taste to be more strong and the mild was what you’d expect

Just ordered from R&R BBQ the price was 16$ bucks for this plate .. kinda expensive but the flavor from the meat was delicious, the mac and cheese was hot and very cheesy in my opinion but very good. The baked beans also very delicious. My overall thoughts were great food for lunch but very expensive I mean at least give a drink with the food. Will come agian thank you
