From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—hostesses, bartenders, our server, and the sommelier were all outstanding. The level of coordination and professionalism across the team was truly impressive.
We arrived early for our reservation and enjoyed cocktails at the bar, which ended up being a highlight of the evening. The bartenders were fantastic, crafting perfectly balanced martinis, and handled a rather intoxicated neighboring guest with remarkable grace and professionalism.
We ended up lingering at the bar longer than planned, soaking in the ambiance and attentive service, before eventually being seated for dinner. Once at the table, our server was wonderful, and the sommelier truly stood out—professional, knowledgeable, and warm, creating an easy connection that elevated the entire experience (I regret not catching her name).
The food was outstanding. We enjoyed the tableside tartare, a frito misto-style dish, and the lobster ravioli, which was absolutely divine.
Overall, it was a flawless evening from start to finish. I can’t wait to return and explore the other RPM restaurants the next time I’m in Chicago.
The whipped ricotta and honey appetizer was truly delicious—creamy, sweet, and the perfect start to the meal. For the main course, the lobster ravioli was amazing. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the filling was rich, fresh, and bursting with flavor.
Saving room for dessert is a must! The tiramisu and the peppermint sundae were truly out of this world and the perfect capstone to a spectacular meal.
To top off this already amazing dining experience, we had the pleasure of meeting Bill and Giuliana. They are the nicest people ever and took the time to chat, making our evening feel incredibly personal and welcoming.
This establishment sets a new bar for fine dining. Highly, highly recommend!
The restaurant is so elegant, beautiful atmosphere, stunning décor, and the food was everything I imagined and more. Our waiter was incredible! We’re from Florida, and it turned out he was too (from Lakeland, actually). I wish I remembered his name because he truly made our experience even better.
Everything about the evening was perfect. I’d absolutely come back on our next trip to Chicago.
Appetizers: Meatballs, Bruscetta & traditional Garlic bread. All were good but the winner is the Bruscetta. It is a MUST TRY!
Dinner: Restaurant choices were plentiful. My friends inhaled their food, so I can only assume it was great! I was able to taste the Roasted Striped Bass, which was very good!
My dinner was the Spicy Dungeness Crab! It comes with Squid ink pasta and Fresno Chili. It was perfection! I will definitely come back soon for that meal.
All in all…RPM is a great place to wine & dine with friends, family & whomever enjoys a good meal and a good time.
Oh the drinks were good as well! My choice was the Prosecco Supernova (Prosecco & Passionfruit). It was very refreshing!
We ordered the Rigatoni Ala Vodka and Bolognese. Both delicious. Would highly recommend. We also did the bread service. AMAZING!
It was my birthday and truly everyone stopped by the table to offer their birthday wishes. Menu was customized with my name. We also got a fun little ice cream treat.
Only critique is that The Traditional Martini and Espresso Martini weren’t great. I ended up also trying the Lemon Drop Martini and it was great.
Such a great birthday dinner and a night to remember!!
Shout out to the team for going above and beyond. We will of course be back!!
