Meeker Oklahoma has two top restaurants… this is one of them. Look at my other reviews to find the second one! What can you say about a place like this? Homemade rolls that are soft and sweet, chicken fried steaks that are hand breaded and are REAL steaks! Real mashed potatoes with white creamy gravy, and fresh green beans made with bacon! Yum! This place is worth your time and travel! Come and give them a try, but be prepared to go back! Oh… one more thing, fresh baked cookies! Yay!

I wish I could give this diner 10 stars. Went in with my family of 6, all ordered something different from steak, to pasta, to onion rings and salad and it was all absolutely fabulous. The atmosphere was cozy, the wait staff friendly, the restaurant was impeccably clean and the food was amazing. Large portions kept us all full with to go boxes eaten on for days. Definitely recommend stopping here for a bite if you’re close to the area

Had the opportunity to try out the Sat buffet, and we were impressed. The food was fresh and served hot. Meatloaf wasn’t dry for a buffet serving, which was a very pleasant surprise as most buffets have issues with meatloaf drying out. The catfish has a nice crunch and was meaty. I was impressed with the salad bar as it offered its own meal alone. All around, I would go again and recommend.

There were so many items to choose from that it was a tad overwhelming. The waitress kept asking if we were ready to order, and I hadn’t even made it through a quarter of the menu.
Is it possible for onion rings to have too much batter? They were very good but were almost so large that I needed a fork and knife. The chicken fried chicken was great though.
Peanut butter pie was ok, as was the coconut cream pie.

Great selection of homemade southern favorites and several other options too like Mexican or Italian. There’s something for everyone. Everything I’ve tried so far has been excellent. They have a buffet most days too from 11 to 3. You have to try their pies too, so yummy

The first time we ordered food the waitress had to return and tell us they didn’t have any steak. The second time they didn’t any chicken for the the chicken parm dish. So I went with the buffet. Only one option of salad dressing and all the food was cold. The one saving grace: great Pepsi

The sirloin steak was a little over seasoned (salty) in comparison to the rest of the food, and the rest of the food was seasoned lightly. The light seasoning is actually really nice, it sets forth the food more than the seasoning. So if you aren’t used to that, the food could be considered bland. But it’s really flavorful and nicely balanced.
The staff was attentive for the place, and honestly didn’t have any complaints, I did overhear a few patrons mentioning the place served the best pie around the area, but we didn’t partake of it.
We got the sirloin steak with fries and brown beans for sides, then fried fish and bacon green beans with rolls and mashed potatoes and brown gravy.
