Delicious food, expertly prepared, attentive owners and staff, vegetarian and vegan options,, with very comfortable seating and soothing ambiance. We were very well supported by our wonderful server, Charan, who discussed and recommended excellent dishes. We loved the chicken Tikka masala, fabulous salmon coconut curry, samosas with beautifully complex tamarind and mint sauces, and ended the meal with chai. Thank you very much, Charan! Your thoughtful attention, made the evening a very special experience. New favourite restaurant. Highly recommend.

Amazing food. If you want authentic Indian and a different environment that is more uptier this is the place to get it. They have amazing samosas and the waiters and whole staff is amazing. There food has real herbs. The tumeric sticks to the hands, that’s how I know. Very good and will come back when in need of my fix for healthy, authentic food

We had paneer pakora for a starter super yummy I really like the mint chutney. I had chicken Karahi with a 7 spice lvl for my main dish, it was so flavorful I just didn’t want it to be over. The chicken Korma my partner had was spot on we shared a garlicchilli naan bread. I will definitely be having this again. The Ras Malai is a light delightful dessert. I left full and happy.

This was our first time, and we were greeted right away. The host and waitress were awesome. Helped us decide some food items and drinks, even gave us a sample of their mango lassi which was phenomenal. The korma, and butter lamb was nothing short of amazing. I chose 10 for spiciness level and it was perfect. We will definitely be going back. Highly recommend if you love authentic Indian food.

We went on a Friday at about 4:30p and it was perfect timing. When we were leaving the line was almost out the door! I’m so happy they’re busy!
We had the samosas, garlic naan, lamb vindaloo, chicken karahi, sweet lassi and kheer. Everything was amazing! The lamb and chicken were tender and not dry, the flavor was on point. You can order your spice level from 0-10, so everyone can choose their own adventure. I can’t wait to go back again and again to work my way through the menu. And, last but not least, the prices are more than fair. The bill was under $100 before tip.
UPDATE: we’ve been back numerous times since our original visit, and the food is always amazing! Tonight we had the lamb coconut curry, the shahi korma chicken, garlic naan, samosas and kheer.

I ordered to go lamb curry with 2 sides of extra naan and it came out at $25. It’s enough to feed two people easily and they nail the spice level, which comes at a level of 1 – 10.
Really, really good curry.

So lucky literally the BEST Indian/Tandoor restaurant I’ve tried between Everett, Seattle, Tacoma & all the way to Silverdale & it’s RIGHT HERE! A treasure for Port orchard! The Lamb Biryani, Tikka Masala, The Makhani, Garlic Naan, Cheese Naan, I mean everything was finger licking amazingly good! Desserts so popular they can actually run out! And the Mango Lassi? I don’t think I’ve ever had one of such high quality, so creamy and perfect amount of sweetness. I’d give it extra credit stars if you could. Officially our families favorite spot for all of Kitsap Peninsula & our favorite Indian restaurant in the entire PNW! The owner is social, friendly and present, keeping everything beautiful and perfect. Keep up the great work!

We discovered Royal Tandoor a few months ago and absolutely love it! From the very first visit, the flavors completely won us over. The mango lassi is incredibly refreshing and perfectly sweet – such a treat every time.
Each dish is packed with bold, authentic flavors and just the right amount of heat. Our favorite by far is the Vegetable Pakora served with mint and tamarind sauce – crispy, flavorful, and totally crave-worthy.
We highly recommend Royal Tandoor to anyone looking for delicious, vibrant Indian cuisine. We can’t wait to go back again!

Clean inviting
The delicious smell hits you as you walk in the door.
We started with Chicken pekora. Served with chutneys was so good should have ordered two.
Vegetable pekora. A yummy crunchy bite of awesome veggies and breading.
Lamb Saag. Wow! What an amazing dish. Went for spice level 8 and it did not disappoint . Every time I thought I had eaten the last bite of lamb, bam. There was more lamb. Friends got Tikka masala and coconut curry. They enjoyed theirs thoughroughly. Should have taken pics but truly was just nomming so hard I forgot to

Walked in on a Thursday around 5pm for takeout. It was my first time in. Not too busy yet… Ordered dinner for two (we wanted leftovers, we we ordered a bit more than usual): Veggie Biriyani, Paneer Tikka Masala, Veggie Samosas, and Chicken Vindaloo (spice level 10/10 – BRING IT).
The nice man who took our order said it would be 20 minutes (“Siri, set a timer for 20 minutes.”), and it was ready in 20.
All of the dishes were excellent and flavorful, and the Spice Level 10 was great – especially with a little Raita to cool it down just a bit.
Recommended and I will be back. It’s great to see good cuisine in Port Orchard, and I think this is the only Indian restaurant around.
