Very cool, trendy feel. The staff felt attentive and fun. The coffee was good and I really enjoyed my Low Carb breakfast. Both the food and drink came out surprisingly quick! Very good service.

1st time visiting. Very nice, quaint coffee house. I had a mango smoothie that came with WHIPPED CREAM on top! The was a first. And it was sooo delicious! I really appreciated and enjoyed the gluten free banana bread. Overall a great meet-up place.

High quality coffee, great flavors, friendly staff, and quick service. The prices could be a bit better, but even in spite of that it’s still one of the best coffee spots around. Far better taste and quality than its Birmingham counterpart. It can be a bit crowded inside, but they still get the drinks made incredibly quickly. Definitely recommend checking out this spot if you’re a fellow coffee/caffeine lover.

Stopped in for a coffee and a quick meal Sunday morning. It was very busy. The lady taking orders was very friendly.
I ordered an iced 24 oz cafe miel. Couldn’t really taste the cinnamon or honey so it was a little disappointing. Seems like many people order the golden joy. The wait for coffee wasn’t very long, but I also ordered a breakfast burrito which took maybe 10 minutes to get. Burrito was solid. Definitely an expensive coffee place, but overall a good experience that I would come back to to treat myself.

Not bad. Family and I stopped in for some coffee and was very surprised with the amount of food options that there was. Quality of food and coffee were good, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain. Food wise things were a bit bland with nothing out of the ordinary. Service was good as well!

The avocado toast with an over easy egg was good. I would have liked 2 but if you just need an appetizer it’s great with a drink to catch up with friends. No condiments on the tables so if you need them ask when you order because i didn’t see any. Anything labeled joy will be super sweet and it was. I didn’t add anything to it because it was so sweet I had to get water to drink instead. I wish they would have did a design in the drink but they didn’t so I don’t know which drinks get the cute flower milk designs like the photos online. Tea might be best to start with or just coffee. The staff was super nice and brought out the food. This is a cafe so don’t expect fast service. Think more like friends cafe on TV. Great atmosphere and music. Go early before the crowd gets there because it’s a great chill spot. I would go back to meet up with friends from out of town but not really on my own just for the food or drink. Its a great meet up and chill spot. Pay attention when turning into the place as it can get crowded in parking lot. You can charge your laptop while there too

Great coffee, breakfast and lunch spot below the Griffin apartment complex. I had a hot coffee with almond milk and it was perfect on a chilly fall day. I’m a big bagel and lox guy and theirs has a great twist with avocado. The atmosphere is very warm inside and there’s ample seating for hanging out, working and eating. The baristas working there were also super friendly

I wish I could give this place more stars! We were having a terrible morning before coming here, desperate for coffee and some food after a pretty bad experience in our hotel. The staff at Royal Oak and the atmosphere completely changed our mood as soon as we walked in. The food is fresh and tasty, the coffee is perfect, and the staff was so genuine and friendly- you can tell they really love where they work and each other. They also have great taste in music! Thank you Royal Oak for making our horrible day turn for the better! We really needed you guys today 🙂
