We are here on Christmas Day 2025 for the 1st time. Service was excellent. We took advantage of the drink specials. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. Fried catfish basket and catfish/shrimp basket. Sweet potato fries were the best I have had in a long time. Hushpuppies and clam chowder were very tasty.

We took a large group to eat here for the 1st time. The food was good, kinda pricey, but we expected that. However, the service was lacking. We were seated promptly for a party of 10. They were not very busy, but we sat there for about 15 min before anyone acknowledged us. Our server was just ok, not super friendly or warm, and not very prompt with refills. Took 10 min of us asking 2-3 times just to get straws for all the drinks. Again, the food was decent, but probably won’t go back due to the service.

Melissa helped me with my dining experience tonight and was so great. I loved getting to chat with her and she was very attentive while handling a couple other tables. It was my first time here and I’d be back in a heartbeat.
The medium spice wasn’t super hot but had a kick to it which was fine. The crab boil was well worth every penny as well. I loved coming out here today.

Me and my family have now been to the Royal Crab a handful of times and will definitely make this our standard seafood boil place! The seafood boil is our top choice and their royal seasoning is the must have! For appetizer we always go with the calamari as it’s always fresh and fried to a crunch as we prefer. We experience great service and food is always fresh! The atmosphere is a very comfortable setting and bathrooms were well maintained.

My husband and I had dinner here this eve. We had the oysters on the half shell, then an order of frog legs with sweet potato fries, and finally a boil in a bag that included crab, sausage, shrimp, potatoes, and corn. Everything was amazing, from our waitress to the food!!!

***UPDATE 7/19/23*** They have changed their policy on kids meals and will only allow you to purchase them if you dine in. Also, they do not take into consideration patients who have undergone weight loss surgery. This is fortunate because I do like their food but don’t think they should be so greedy buy implementing this ridiculous change.
