Great place for families and events (like our group’s Christmas party). Nice size private room available. Server attentive. Buffet well stocked, fresh, and clean. Really nice selection of meat and vegetables for grill to order area. Many varieties of sushi. Happy to recommend Royal Buffet. If you’re reading this, please hit Like❤️

This was a pretty good buffet. Food seemed to be kept restocked and fresh frequently. There was a nice selection. And the dessert options were great! I have found often at Asian buffets there are not a lot of dessert options, but they had really good and tasty ones here. I would definitely return to this place.

Oh my gosh, so this was the first time I have ever been here. It was by far the most amazing buffet I’ve ever been to‼️Not only do they have chinese food, sushi, raw food. They have American food like chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy…breaded shrimp….the pastry selections for desserts is out of this world. The place was very clean, inviting and a great value. I will most definitely be back….

I had an extremely disappointing and concerning experience at this Chinese buffet. From the moment we walked in, the cleanliness of the restaurant was clearly lacking. Floors and surfaces appeared dirty, and the overall environment felt unsanitary.
The food was another major issue. Nearly everything we tried was cold, hard, and clearly not fresh. Buffet items that are supposed to be hot were lukewarm at best, and some were completely cold. Even the ice cream was melted, which raises serious concerns about temperature control and food safety.
When we brought these concerns to the manager, instead of addressing the issue properly or removing unsafe food from the buffet, we were offered the option to have the food microwaved. That response was extremely unprofessional and alarming, especially for a buffet that is supposed to keep food at safe serving temperatures.
This place appears to have major violations of basic food handling, cleanliness, and safety standards. I would strongly urge local health inspectors to take a closer look. I would not recommend eating here, and I will not be returning.

Ok. Here goes.. This is My unbiased, objective review. I and the Wife are Seniors, and we like to eat out and try new restaurants. Mother’s Day I and the wife went here to the royal buffet. And I must agree with other reviews of this place.
The place was packed for Mother’s Day, and it was Uncomfortably Warm, I was sweating. The wait staff will stand at certain areas, and stare at you while you’re trying to eat.
The wait staff did very little, aside from taking away dishes and refills.
And the bill was on the table before we returned from our second trip to the food bar.
As Others have said, the Exotic seafood was Off-putting. And we overheard the way the wait staff was speaking to People, and about People. It’s Mother’s Day, the Restaurant IS going to be hectic.
The waitress was very aggressive about the tip, tapping the check.
After spending $45.00 and hearing how they speak to people and about people. I’m sorry, No Tip for You.
This is HOW we send a message to businesses which are Pushy, Rude, and Price Gouging. And trying to Hustle you through your meal so they can get another set of people in there and get that money. When you spend that kind of money, your going to want to Enjoy yourself.
Unfortunately, We did not. The food prep was hurried due to the Volume of Patrons and some of it seemed undercooked. After this experience, WE will NOT be returning. Such a Shame.
Maybe New Wait staff would improve Customer Relations.

Boardman Plaza Very clean! Especially the dining room and restroom! food is astronomically exquisite! food stations were clean and fresh hot food & up to proper temperatures. Dinning room is very spacious to accommodate large parties & family diners. The variety of food, choices to select from are incredibly excellent! So much to choose from! The staff is very nice, respectful and demonstrated great hospitality! The decor is warm hardwood cushion benches with red mahogany, colored wood tables and chairs as well as booths! The ambience is very thrilling and it’s to die for I highly recommend you come and enjoy the atmosphere as well as the authentic cuisine here at the Royal buffet in Boardman, Ohio

Wow. Was surprised by how many people were there. The young lady with glasses. Could run a marathon. She was at every table more than once and was always at the ready. The food was Good. And the Christmas music made for a nice atmosphere. I will try and come back.

Very relaxed atmosphere. Excellent variety of Chinese and American food. Lots of choices. Friendly staff. We went during Christmas time and they were playing very nice Christmas music that was relaxing and they kept the music at a nice level were you could enjoy it but it didn’t interfere with conversation. Our waitress was an absolute sweetheart. The food variety really is great so there is something for everyone.

We come here every week. It’s slowly been getting worse and worse. The last time the worker basically asked us to pay when we weren’t ready, which it was only 6 pm so I was confused why we were being rushed. This time the worker interrupted our conversation with some nice people we were talking to to make us pay and then wasn’t happy with our 5$ tip and waved it in our face and in front of our daughter asking her if she wanted it. It was rude. We will never go back.

My husband and I went here this past weekend for my birthday as we always used to go here before we had kids. Food tasted off so I did not eat much. My husband had a decent amount of the seafood and misc items. He ended up getting very bad food poisoning from this place. Will not go back and will not recommend.
