Royal banquet is an open buffet restaurant inside Disneyland Hotel. You can add your breakfast and/or dinner with meal plans. You can also arrange it during your stay. Dinner is with Disney characters which different characters walk through the venue and say hi to your table with a chance to have photos together. In our stay, we have welcomed by Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Daisy. It was very nice concept while enjoying the good food.
During breakfast, I really loved croissants, different breads, different type of fish and meat as well as different kid of eggs. I really recommend this restaurant especially for families.
Price is 100 EUR per adult, 50 EUR for kids including 1 non-alcohol drink.

Dinner at Royal Banquet feels like stepping into a fairytale with a very generous buffet attached. The dining room is warm and elegant, with rich wood, golden lamps, and that signature Disney touch that makes everything feel a little more magical without being over the top.

Let’s talk about the food—because it truly was impressive.

The buffet is extensive, but it doesn’t feel chaotic. Everything is beautifully presented and thoughtfully arranged. The cold seafood station was a highlight: fresh prawns on ice, smoked salmon, salads, terrines—each dish looking as good as it tasted. It had that polished “grand hotel” feel, but still approachable.

The lobster was surprisingly good. Yes, it had been frozen before, but it was handled well. The meat was sweet, tender, and flavorful, especially with the sauces provided. The only downside was practical: the claws were quite difficult to crack, and no cracking tools were available. It would have been helpful to have proper seafood utensils, though the staff were happy to assist when asked.

The hot dishes were equally satisfying. There were slow-roasted meats carved to order, rich stews, creamy sides, roasted vegetables—comfort food elevated just enough to feel special. Even the more family-friendly options were done properly, not just added as filler. You can tell the kitchen cares about execution.

Dessert deserves its own moment. A beautiful display of macarons, cakes, tarts, and pastries made it hard to choose just one. The textures were spot on—crispy, creamy, light, indulgent. It was both playful and refined, very much in line with the Disney atmosphere.

What truly elevated the evening, though, was the service. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly. Plates were cleared quickly, buffet stations were kept tidy, and there was always someone nearby to help. Most importantly, all the characters made their way to every table. And not in a rushed way—they took their time, interacted, posed for photos, and made the experience feel personal and memorable.

Royal Banquet manages to balance quality dining with magical entertainment. It’s not just about eating—it’s about the full experience. With just a small improvement like providing lobster crackers, it would be nearly flawless.

A joyful, generous, and genuinely delicious evening. Definitely worth it.

Just a bit more thought in organizing the foods!

The Royal Banquet Restaurant is a buffet-style venue with character meet-and-greets. During our visit, we met Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Pluto – definitely a highlight for fans and families with kids.

If your main goal is to meet the characters, this restaurant is a great choice. However, if you’re looking to enjoy a good meal or sample French cuisine, it may not be the right place.

The food was below average overall. While the buffet initially looks impressive and lavish, the actual selection is quite limited. For example, the only potato option available was Mickey-shaped hash browns.

The dessert section was the best part of the meal – I would even consider it the highlight of the experience.

On the downside, the noise level was extremely high due to the large number of young children. Additionally, hearing “Happy Birthday” over the speakers every five minutes became quite repetitive and distracting.

A chance to meet Minnie, Mickey, Donald and Daisy. They sign autographs and pose for photos with diners. Amazing Disney Experience. We were lucky and our dining time came with the chance to view the Fireworks and Drones show. Fantastic.

We had an amazing time at the royal banquet lunch. I booked this experience for my 5 year old son during our stay at the Disney Hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The food was a dream. So many options and yes there is a big seafood section. My husband is a big seafood lover so that is a plus. The desserts are so cute and really tasty! We were able to take our time and enjoy every minute of it. Mickey and Minnie were present together with Donald and Daisy Duck. They were so lovely and took many pictures with us. They will come more then once to your table to entertain you. My son was so happy! I would definitaly recommend!

Side note: even though it is a all you can eat buffet. Some people will fill up their tables with so many food but will only eat 20% of it. Just take what you can handle and go for an extra round if you are still hungry. Food waist is unnecessary! Do better people!

This was my favorite place in Disneyland Paris! We ate here for several breakfasts and a lunch. The view is incredible and the atmosphere is so fun! Portraits of Disney characters all around makes the magic.

As vegan, this buffet surprised me with the options! They had vegan croissants for breakfast! They had clearly marked vegan options. It’s expensive to eat here but it did provide the best vegan options. We got everything available so it was 3-5 things (not including salad bar).

The micky potatoes were so so good!

The characters at lunch were delightful!

You truly feel like royalty when you dine here. The buffet line is amazingly set up. The best buffet we have ever had! (So far) The seafood is fabulous, you can eat shrimp, lobster, oyster ect. and all of the seafood are fresh the cold section also amazed us, especially the ham. The highlight for us truly were the desserts, they were elegantly put up and there were so many delicate cakes to choose from, the cakes we chose were all tasty. The waiters are excellent, always helpful. We got to meet some of our favorite Disney characters while we were dining, staff will help you take a picture, great food and amazing memory in this place.

Incredible experience. The characters were lovely, spent lots of time at the table, came back around. Food was tasty, high quality and plenty for vegetarians which I was worried about after hearing there’s a lot of seafood. Plenty of beige food for fussy kids – chicken nuggets, fish goujons, Mickey potatoes. Most seats have a view of the castle.

The buffet looked stunning, however there was something not quite right with the quality and so we were left not wanting more. In fact we declined the buffet breakfast on the assumption it too would look great but be below average. An example is the lobster, it had been frozen and was still thawing, so it was watery and bland. This was pretty consistent with the mussels and crab. The macarons and desserts in general tasted artificial. Everything looked great but nothing tasted fresh or delicious.

The atmosphere was pretty hectic and the waiters found it hard to keep up with clearing plates.

Next time I’d dine in the village or park where there’s better quality at a fraction of the price.
