Roy Rogers has always been my favorite, but today’s visit was one of the best experiences I’ve had in years. The staff was friendly, the food was fresh and hot, and Sovan went above and beyond. Taking our order, restocking the fixins bar with Pete’s hot sauce, and making the best strawberry shortcake for my daughter and me. A short stop turned into a delightful experience. We visited a second time and Sanyiah made it an even better experience. She made us the best strawberry shortcake that we’ve had at any Roy’s before! She also had a smile that lit up the room, she was very polite and helpful during our entire experience!

I haven’t been in a Roy’s in awhile. I loved the food and the breakfast potatoes are the best. Round and some kind of oven baked. Nice atmosphere too. Just enough people sitting around eating. Not noisy but a little action to be comfy in there. Plenty of people working there and they were all busy which means people like it there. Nice folks too.

I love Roy Rogers. They have awesome roast beef sandwiches. Everything I have ordered has been a banger. They have a toppings / condiment bar with a good variety. They had hush puppies for a limited time last year and I really wish they would bring them back. The hush puppies are what got me in the door to begin with. I come back every couples months in hopes they have the hush puppies again. Hey Roy… We want hush puppies!

I want to take a moment to recognize the exceptional customer service I received at Rory Rogers in Hagerstown, especially from Barb, the manager.
I came in with an issue that needed to be addressed, and Barb handled it with absolute professionalism. There was no arguing, no dismissiveness, and no unnecessary back-and-forth—she listened, understood the concern, and fixed the issue promptly and respectfully.
What truly stood out was her calm demeanor and genuine willingness to help. That level of management makes all the difference. She treated me like a valued customer, not a problem, and that speaks volumes about her leadership and the standards she upholds.
Because of Barbi professionalism and integrity, I would absolutely recommend Rory Rogers in Hagerstown. This is how customer service should be done.

Well, I would like to say the experience was pleasant but that is a stretch. Ordering at the drive-thru menu board was mediocre at best. I’ll blame it on the frigid weather, having to sit with the window rolled down wishing for the heat coming out of the vents in the car.
After ordering something simple, you would think things would go smoothly.
And due to knowing what it means to work for the company did not help.
Leaving the drive-thru and finding that items were missing from the promised bag of food…well. Disappointing.
Needing ANOTHER trip past the dreaded menu board and having to let the window go down.
When explaining that items were missed from the order, and having to repeat them, discouraged all hope of escaping the torture.
This did not quell the fact that the sandwich was not very fresh and the french fries were barely warm.
At least the drink tasted like it should.
The aforesaid items were abandoned and the horrid thought of wasting $12-13 crept it.
Again, I typically enjoy the treat of Roy Roger’s when it comes few and far between. This one missed the mark by a long shot.

A little different than most fast food joints. They have a fixins bar to top your burgers, so I suggest eating in and skipping the drive-through. The dining room was pretty clean, but pretty much like most burger joints. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food was tasty, and you can find the usual burgers and tenders, and couple not so usual items and sides. I’ll eat here again as a nice change from the usual.

On a road trip, stopped in for some roast beef! It was so good!! But the rest of the experience was just so exceptionally nice!
The restaurant was clean & tidy but the staff were just so friendly! One staff memeber stopped at my table to welcome me & wish me a nice meal, and several said goodbye when I left! I am a big Roys fan, but this location is so far my favorite!

Always have loved Roy’s for the fact they don’t ruin your burger by putting anything on it, they make you do it! No stale burgers with the after taste of a pickle! It’s my favorite fast food burger!!!!

Roast beef was very tasty and moist, and the fixens bar was full of fresh veggie toppings. Restaurant was clean and bright, customer service crew were polite and friendly! Very nice experence.
