I wanted to love this place. The concept is very similar to Babe’s around the DFW area and I love Babe’s! Roxie’s, however, has room for improvement. The space is bright and cheerful, plenty of parking, and the wait was reasonable. The staff – pleasant, helpful, and professional – our server was great! The food? The biscuits were really good but could have been warmer… the iced tea was cloudy which always makes me wonder what’s in it… my chicken fried steak was chewy but the batter tasted good….cream corn was soupy – green beans were ok but too many chunks of bacon in every bite … mashed potatoes were ok but could use some seasoning or butter… gravy was bland. Chocolate Silk pie was good but definitely not a Chocolate Silk but more like a Chocolate Chess pie. We went with a friend and all three of us agreed it was ok but not Salt Luck quality. Finally, after we paid bill with gratuity, our receipt suggested an additional gratuity of 2% -7%. After just suggesting 18%, 20%, etc., suggesting extra seems pushy. Especially when you just tipped 22%, it feels tacky to be asked for more gratuity. Not sure if we will be back but if we are, i hope to have a better experience.

My buddy and I went to Roxie’s for the first time last night. I had heard a lot of great things before and after they opened up the other month. I was expecting a long wait and when we got there, we were lucky enough to snag two seats at the bar. Our bartender/waiter Charlie was the best! He was on it the entire time we were there. We ordered the 360 burger and Chicken fried steak experience and so we could sample and try a few things. The biscuits came out first and before I could even finish , our appetizers came out ( deviled eggs). Everything was delicious, and the service was friendly and fast. Came hungry, and left full and happy. Thank you Charlie for the outstanding service. God bless chicken fried steak

Nice appetizers. Try the pimento cheese. The entrees in The Experience are the way to go. All you can eat biscuits, green beans, corn, and mashed potatoes. Unfortunately when we were there, which wasn’t late, they had run out of 3 of the entrees. Service was pretty good although slow in refilling the ice tea. They are a recent start-up so will likely get better with experience.

Great Atmosphere. Down home, southern cooking. Nothing fancy, just good comfort food, and a lot of it. I really appreciated the pillows on the bench seats, it made it so much more comfortable. Vegetarian options for entree would be appreciated, if that could be worked into the menu. Service was great, and i was pleased with how quickly our orders came out. I loved the pimento cheese app!

I loved this place more than I thought I would. The menu is well thought out, not overbearing but a great selection. Loved the nice touch of biscuits being delivered when seated.
The fried chicken sandwich was perfect.
I was super impressed with our service. Several people checked on us and made sure we weee good.
The atmosphere was great, even down to the styling and branding. You need to check out the merch!! Very well done.

Food is good. Cracker Barrel but just homemade better…
Service is poor. Need an experienced crew not high school/college kids for a new restaurant.
Atmosphere is fun but they need to light up the entry doors so you can see where to enter the building and see the patio when you leave. Way too dark!

Went early afternoon with my dad and they seemed steady but not overly busy, didn’t have to wait for a table. Was a little disappointed to learn the baked chicken experience wasn’t available so I ordered the burger. Unbeknownst to me Scott the owner was walking around and asked about what we ordered he explained why the chicken wasn’t ready yet and was very informative! Not 5 minutes after my burger arrived Scott came back and let me know the baked chicken was ready and he’d comp the burger off of our bill. All of the food we ordered from the sliders, the baked chicken experience and the burger was amazing! The staff was very attentive and we will definitely be back!

Visited Rosie’s last night with friends. The wait was a bit long but that’s expected on Sat night. Once, seated our waitress was very friendly and attentive. I ordered fried chicken with a friend, so we got all you can eat sides for additional$10. The chicken was good, sides were warm but portions small. We had to order several times and wait that our chicken got cold. I suggested larger bowls? Biscuits are good but small as well, maybe to keep customers from getting full on them? All in all okay but nothing to rave about.
