Today was my worst experience ever here. My home fries arrived significantly overcooked and severely burnt. Very difficult to eat and unfortunately detracted from the enjoyment of an otherwise well prepared breakfast plate. What made it worse the server acknowledged the concern, but there wasn’t an offer to replace the home fries. The kitchen staff should pay closer attention to the cooking of home fries in the future, as they are a staple breakfast item for many diners.

This is a solid no frills diner in the center of West Roxbury. The prices and fine and the variety of breakfast meals is also fine. Unlimited coffee. The Rox is part of our regular morning weekly stop.

The Kids wanted Pancakes and we Stumbled on to Rox Diner who served them some of the Best Blueberry Buttermilk Pancakes they ever had with a side of warm Nutella and Real Maple Syrup.
The Home fries were Very Tasty
They also serve a Great Hot Cup

The Kids enjoyed their Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice .

Waitress was an absolute sweetheart and took great care of me. Portions were huge – twice as much as I could eat. Corned beef hash was amazing! Definitely recommend that one.
They had gluten free toast and good allergen awareness (cooked my food on the gluten free portion of the grill.)

Awful quality food. Ordered a western style sandwich and immediately I could tell it was made with liquid eggs which I did not expect for a sandwich, but fine.
I opened the upsidedown bagel to reassemble the stuff that looked like it was thrown in, and surprise! there were like 3 little cubes of ham I’m sorry- I thought this was a WESTERN (ham, peppers, and onion). The waitress brought over more ham, but I honestly didn’t even touch it because again, it looks like it was thrown on the plate with disdain.
Maybe the cook was having a bad day, but the food quality is a hard no for me. Our waitress was cool though, made the experience a little better with her friendliness.

For ax sour dough bread hard to bite into. Corned beef hash overcooked, dry and some of it need a sharp steak knife. Home fries very dry, deep fried, overcooked. Don’t plan to go back.

The food tasted great. Specially the began burger. I also feel that the began burger meals is a totally worth it. How ever the breakfast combo was little disappointing . My orange juice was missing and my toast. It was also not worth the price.

This is honestly one of my favorite diner spots ,the hashbrowns are top notch. They’re some of the best I’ve had around, and the omelettes and breakfast wraps are pretty tasty too.

The staff is very nice and very helpful. I had the apple cinnamon granola pancakes. The apples and the granola were all cooked inside the pancake. You get 3 pancakes, and their finished with a topping of powdered sugar. Every couple of bites, you get the crunch of the granola. I enjoyed it.
