Let me start off with, this was an amazing breakfast. I had the Maple Croque Madam Benedict. The poached egg cooked perfectly, the hollandaise sauce perfect Maple flavor, not broken, great ham and Swiss. Just over all a phenomenonal plate. The country potatoes cooked well with a nice crispy shell! But was it worth $21?!?
Decided to also order one of there special lattes. Drink order was placed about 5 minutes before food order. Food came out relatively quickly, approx 15-18 mins. When asked about drink, was told it was coming. Ate breakfast with no latte. Received boxes for leftovers and paid. Still no drinks. Granted, they were very busy. Sunday morning rush! After about 40-45mins our drinks came out. Finally! But unfortunately it was not good, cold, luke warm at best. Had ordered their maple chai latte, and it had no maple flavor! On top of that it was $9! Requested a to go cup, didn’t want to guzzle it down so I could leave! And it didn’t even amount to 16oz!
Sadly I will not be returning, over priced breakfast and total rip-off latte

The food is incredible but the fancy drinks are just not worth it. We have given this place its fair chance several times. We truly do love the menu and the atmosphere, but can no longer justify the cost for what we have been served. Several times we visited in the spring and summer and were given iced drinks after specifically ordering hot beverages, they were still mighty tasty and worth every penny, even when our drinks showed up well after our food, in one case, after our food had been completely eaten that’s how long it takes to get a latte with the sheer volume they are trying to serve with one espresso machine and one barista. We took a break from the place this fall and tried again in the winter… Valentine’s weekend was slammed packed busy with a new temporary menu drawing everyone in, food and service were fantastic. However, we just visited again on Sunday 2/28 and it will be our last visit. I really, truly did not appreciate the owner coming over to tell us that the barista making our drinks was her son’s girlfriend, who had been “left to the wolves” to make drinks on her own with no help or guidance. You charged us $17.00 for two lattes that we could not finish, they were so poorly made. And you came over to laugh in our faces about it. I feel terrible for that kid, and for your customers who suffered for your antics. Trinity, I hope you get far from this family… We will not be back.

My new breakfast spot in Peru. Quaint decor reminds me of farmhouse kitch with old lady lace. Printed paintings and some old country tools. Old furniture and used booths, family run, family and friends frequented. The staff are very warm and friendly and they don’t rush you. Very casual so come as you are. The menu is short but the choices are tough. I chose the smokehouse Benedict. I’m not usually a fan of the sweet but this was a good choice. The potatoes were simple and delicious and not deep fried. So good. We will be returning to try the other offerings

So, so happy to have found this cafe! The food is genuinely to die for and the service is so incredibly pleasant, even despite how busy they were on a Sunday morning. I really can’t say enough just how good the food was. It’s some od the best I’ve had since moving up here and I appreciate everyone for making this place what it is!

Visiting Vermont from Florida, made a detour through here on our way to Canada just to check this place out. Totally worth it! So tasty the pancakes were lightly sweet with crispy edges, and whatever they season their country potatoes with they are so good, best breakfast potatoes I have ever had! Vanilla latte was not only beautiful but tasty and not overly sweet. Atmosphere was good a little small but everyone was so nice.

Great place!! Very engaging, friendly service, with smiling, energetic wait staff. Delicious Eggs Benedict; I asked for my English Muffin toasted extra crispy and it was! The potatoes that came with our food were beautifully flavored and the consistency was spot on, not mushy or over done. We had their Peppermint Cookie Latte-sweet, delicious, as good a specialty coffee as we’ve had in the North Country. Whimsical collection of mismatched plates. So worth a stop!

This was the best breakfast I can remember having. It was like the good old days before going into hunting camp and having a massive breakfast, but this one had the elegance of a gourmet meal. I had the Irish Eggs Benedict which was great. The prices may be higher than you expect for a breakfast cafe, but you don’t leave hungry and there is a lot of thought and effort put into the each menu item. The family all enjoyed coffee drinks and hot chocolates. The service was incredibly friendly, caring, and authentic with lots of smiles to go around. Highly recommend! Great job!

Unique menu with fun seasonal touches. The food was phenomenal. And I genuinely will never be able to order a latte ever again, they will always be disappointing compared to the one I had at Rove.
