Recommendation for ROUX seafood kitchen in Huntington Beach …
Reviews
For starters, I had the New Orleans Gumbo, which was flavorful and rich. The main course was a delightful Chilean Seabass and Shrimp dish, perfectly cooked and seasoned. I also tried the Jambalaya, which had a great mix of spices and ingredients.
The food is good and made to order, ensuring freshness and quality. However, the wait time was a bit longer than expected, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy at the time. Despite this, the service was good, with friendly and attentive staff.
Overall, if you’re in the mood for some well-prepared seafood and a nice atmosphere, I recommend giving Roux Seafood Kitchen a try!
Food is amazingly flavorful, quality seafood and inexpensive dishes, and quiet cozy place for family or couples dining.
The story got better when this absurd manager randomly added an extra corkage fee to our bill without any prior mention or request to open. We asked the waiter she said she didn’t know anything about the added extra charge. When we questioned the manager, his response was “we automatically charge corkage for bottles on your table.” This kind of behavior is dishonest!
The experience at this restaurant was completely ruined by the manager’s behavior. It’s evident he has no idea how to run a business or handle customers effectively. Instead of resolving a simple issue, he made things worse with his lack of common sense and poor communication skills. It’s hard to believe someone so incompetent is in charge. Until the management improves, I can’t recommend this place to anyone.
We went for an early dinner on a rainy Wed night and it was empty when we arrived. A couple of parties came in after us.
Our waitress Cynthia was great! She was friendly, smiling, and checked on us often. We would ask for her again when we go back.
It’s a Cajun restaurant with an Asian flair. Food was so reasonably priced when every other restaurant in the area is getting ridiculously expensive. And the food was delicious too!
We ordered the shrimp jambalaya (which had a nice kick and came with big plump shrimps), shrimp and grits (creamy grits with corn), mushroom rigatoni (creamy and rich), garlic noodles (a bit on the sweet side for some reason), and ribeye steak (so tender!).
