The drive thru is a bit confusing as I went for the first time. We gave up on the audio system and I moved to the window for ordering the Sonora Dog and tater tots. The tater tots were good. The Sonora dog was topped with broken potato chips and my expectations dropped suddenly and then there was the size which was a bit small. I dug in anyways and it was quite a surprise as the chips were mere camouflage and insides were lined with chilies (jalapenos??), beans and sauces. It was a pleasant experience as I like spicy food. Wish it was a bit bigger.

We stopped, walked up, and ordered some dogs and fries, having never tried it over the years on Route 66. We drove home and found out that the food was severely over salted to the degree where it wasn’t pallatable.

Super unique driving through the building and the food to include the fries are so of flavor!

The service is great and my two pups got treats in the form of a hot dog. The food needs work, simply wasn’t what I expected from a chili cheese dog, not much chili or cheese and the dogs themselves were overcooked, fries were kind of soggy as well. Honestly though I’d be willing to give it another try.

Very disappointed! Just got home right now hoping to enjoy the hotdogs that my son & I ordered 10 minutes ago (around 7:10 PM- 2/27/23). The hotdogs are burnt & so hard like rubber, there is also no receipt inside the paper bag to call back & find the girl who processed my order. You can not trust these people anymore. You should open up your order & check it out in front of them because you woudn’t know what they will put in it.. talking about trustworthy food service..tsk. I guess they don’t have that.

Surprise find in Flagstaff! We were traveling back from the Grand Canyon and had a taste for a hot dog. What a great find! We enjoyed a Kraut Dog and a dog with Relish, Onions and Mustard. The ordering system was just fine and the young man at the window was professional and courteous. The dogs tasted great!! They were grilled just right and the snap and flavor were on-point. We enjoyed our dogs and will certainly make a return trip to this location when we are back in town. Thanks Route 66 Doug Haus!

I’ve been going to route 66 Dog Haus off and on for the last number of years and they consistently deliver great tasting burgers and dogs. They have plenty on their menu and you really want to spend the time to explore. I tend to stick to the chili items like their chili dogs and chili burgers but even the small corn dogs with chili are really tasty.

It was a cool experience for us being out of town. The Sonoran Dog was good, the double cheeseburger wasn’t. I’d recommend it if you’re on your way through, just for the nostalgia. A little pricey for what it was, though.

Heard that this place has the best hotdogs in town. Made a decision to give it a shot and let’s say I am very disappointed in the quality of the food. The hotdog is burnt and hard to chew and the chili looks like it was scrapped from the bottom as it is burnt and no taste to it as all you can taste is the burnt of it. The fries I can tell is old and chewy and very salty, I gagged when I put one in my mouth. The only reason I gave it an each star is because the staff is friendly. But unfortunately I will not be coming back.

Pretty decent food. Always seems to come out fresh. While the layout is fun and unique, it’s difficult to navigate. Sometimes theyll bring your food out while you’re sandwiched in between cars. If you’re behind someone at the window and another car is behind you, you’re pretty much stuck in the driveway with your food until someone moves.
