Me and the wife have been here 3 times and the food is YUMMMMMMMEEEÈE! I can recommend the SHRIMP … STEAK … Pork tenderloin… fresh cut fries are ADDICTING!! cant wait to come back for some more good stuff… we are wanting to try the stuffed mushrooms and the ayce chicken . The inside of the place has a relaxing vibe with plenty to look at. The outside the same. If your in the Freeport area this is a place to try for sure.

Stopped in for lunch with my kids and family on a Sunday at noon. It was quite busy, and I believe it only gets busier on a Saturday night. Service was quick, and we had our apps in no time. The fried pickles were delicious. The cheese curds are good, however I don’t think they are freshly made only because they are all the exact same size. Again, they tasted great. We all ordered chicken tenders. Chicken tenders were great. My son ordered crinkle cut fries and I ordered fresh cut fries. The only thing I didn’t like were the fresh cut fries. These were just a little over cooked and crunchy. The crinkle cut were great. I would definitely go again.

Its a good old roadside restaurant. Its not fancy. It doesn’t pretend to be fancy. Its something from yesteryear. We were there as a large party and they were very accommodating.

Broasted chicken is moist and has good flavor. Requires extra cook time, no prob we expected that. But, the fries took even longer than the chicken and came out about 10mins after, hmmm forgot?!? Just say so! Mistakes happen.
Ordered a burger med-rare, so it’s not over-cooked, well they def know how to make a med-rare… good job!!
Nice atmosphere.
Friendly service but wasn’t too attentive. She said it wasn’t her usual night to work, not sure how the day of the week matters when keeping a guest’s beverages filled.

If you have just turned 21 and haven’t switched ur license over to horizontal DO NOT GO HERE. Reason: I just had turned 21 on December 11th of this year and my ID wasn’t switched over, our bartender/waitress was extremely rude didn’t even give her name and took my husbands card to pay for food didn’t even say how much the food came too. I recommend NOT going here if you’re just looking for a good time and to enjoy your food with an alcoholic beverage.

We came to Rt. 20 for my birthday because I wanted a big, fat juicy burger. We got quite the opposite. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and was extremely disappointed. There was only one piece of bacon on it, it was clearly a frozen burger patty, no sort of mayo or fixings. I had to ask for those separately because I guess people are eating their burgers plain now. My husband’s burger was just as bad. We only took a couple of bites and couldn’t finish it. We used to look forward to coming to Rt. 20 but not sure if we will return now.
I would give a 1 star rating for this experience but their cheese curds alone earn a full star.

We were traveling and stopped in because of the good reviews. I got the broasted chicken and it was wonderful! My husband got the brisket burger and it was really good as well. They had a salad bar that looked good but we didn’t order that.
