We are on hunt for best sandwiches 2026, and this is definitely on list. You can smell smoke as you drive up & see smoker. Their tri tip smokier than others & we like that. More space to sit either indoors or out than I imagined. We got the combo & liked the potato salad— bit more pickle juice in it than some, but gave a tang. Will be back to try tacos, breakfast burrito & trainwreck

Loved this place today. First time visitor. Got the Cheesesteak Sandwich. It was a good size, reasonably priced, and the meat was tender and smoked. Easy to eat (bread was not hard or sharp). The chocolate chip cookie they sell is absolutely perfect. Next time I’ll try the tri-tip sandwich. Can’t wait! My friends loved their choices as well.

This place is great. The prices reasonable for such amazing quality of food. The burgers are great, the cold sandwiches are great, the hot sandwiches are also great. I’d say that everything on their menu I’ve had has been great.
If you can’t call ahead, they do get busy and you might be waiting for 10 minutes or so – overall, that’s still good.
Give ’em a shot. Try the tri-tip tacos or a burger and fries… All good!

So glad I finally tried it. 3 tri-tip tacos and fries for me. Fresh and simple, super flavorful, smoky/savory thin shaved tri-tip in a crisped and cheese sprinkled taco covered in shaved lettuce and cheese shreds. Green salsa-nice bit of heat and cilantro. Fries fresh, hot and crispy without being greasy. I will come back- give em a try!

What an amazing experience eating here for the first time. I’ve eaten many times at the Roseville location but I must confess this location makes better sandwiches and have better service. The lady at the counter was so nice and professional. I ordered the loaded pastrami with fries and soda. It was delicious! Definitely a must go to sandwich shop in Sac.
