Round the Clock Diner East for lunch. We were seated promptly and our server, Genevieve, came over right away. She was upbeat, friendly, and attentive. My husband ordered one of the daily special sandwiches – Rueben with Cole slaw, pickle and French Fries (with a side of ranch dressing for dipping the fries). He was very pleased with the Reuben. It was loaded with corned beef. I decided to try their French Onion Soup. It was not the usual French Onion soup that I was used to – it was topped with mozzarella cheese. (Most French Onion soups are made with Gruyère & Parmesan cheeses.) The soup was still very good – the broth had a good flavor, and it was loaded with onions and croutons. We both enjoyed our lunches!
The menu is huge. Breakfast and lunch specials. Seasonal specials too. Your typical diner type of food but everything is fresh and delicious! The portions are nice sizes as well.
This location is big, with plenty of seating. Small amount of bar seating. Definitely treat yourself to some homemade dessert while you’re here. You won’t be disappointed!
I’m writing to share a disappointing experience my individual and I had during our recent visit to Around the Clock Diner on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 4:00 PM. We’ve been loyal customers for the past ten months, dining there every Wednesday, and have always appreciated the food and service.
On this occasion, I ordered a cheeseburger with fries, and my individual had the tuna with fries. Unfortunately, when I tasted my fries, they had a strong mold-like flavor. I immediately informed our waitress, who kindly brought out a second order. However, the replacement fries tasted the same. I received a third batch, but again, the issue persisted.
Despite raising the concern multiple times, no refund or adjustment was offered. I mentioned the issue to the cashier on our way out, who apologized and asked if the fries had been removed from our bill. I confirmed they had not.
I’m not writing this to complain for the sake of it, but because I value the quality and consistency we’ve come to expect from your establishment. I hope this feedback helps improve future service and food quality. We’d appreciate acknowledgment of this issue and any steps you plan to take to ensure it doesn’t happen again.
Frequent customers. Whitney had delivered my platter and I found an oval plate with a pile of French fries and a sized Ruben sandwich. Everything was done top notch. Portion size was perfect. The Cole slaw had to have been home
Made. It too was delicious. The French fries I liked that they were not coated with salt as most restaurants do that. I definitely got my money worth. My total bill was under $12.00. The food was excellent. Meant my expectations. Dining area was spotless. Very clean areas were observed. The place was busy. But everyone’s attitude was happy. Whitney was an excellent waitress. While I knew she was busy. She had checked with me numerous times to make sure I was good. Thank you Whitney for a great experience. Will be back. And I will be asking for you. While the parking lot is small. If your pulling a trailer or driving an RV. There is plenty of parking towards the rear of the restaurant in the shopping center lot.
The extensive menu features diner staples like fluffy pancakes, omelets, juicy burgers, and comfort food classics such as meatloaf and pot roast. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is quick, even during busy times. Whether you’re craving a late-night snack or a hearty breakfast, Round the Clock Diner East offers satisfying meals with a welcoming atmosphere.
The atmosphere was quiet and comfortable and the store was clean. I will definitely be back to try something else on the menu. ☺️
Food was cheap but Horrible. They DO NOT use Biscuits for their Biscuits n Gravy! Just sandwich buns! What an offense to a Great Southern staple. My food was so dry…just no. Never again.
Doesn’t help that I stood in line for about 10 to 12 minutes while the 1 cashier(who was polite) handled some very needy customer and another customer cut me off, while I was in line, to check out as well.
