Great service, pretty good food, carnitas was the least favorite taco. Every time I go, you can bet im getting the esquites and Brussels sprouts. The la cantina + jalapeños : 10/10, best gluten free tres leches around!!!

First off- I loved the margaritas and the chips and guacamole. I’m coming at this review from a vegan standpoint so I can not testify the quality of their non-vegan dishes. I really wanted to love the mushroom tacos that came vegan but I found them to be underwhelming. The menu says the mushrooms are marinated but they lacked flavor and seemed undercooked to me. The only real flavor came from the sauce on top of the tacos. Some of the mushrooms were hard to eat and very rubbery. As someone who loves mushrooms, this was one of my first experiences where I genuinely didn’t love a mushroom-based dish. It’s impossible to overcook mushrooms so I’m not sure what the chef was thinking when they decided they were “fully-cooked”. I find sometimes restaurants can overlook their vegan dishes but I’m hoping this was a fluke and not relfective of their normal quality. In hindsight I should have sent it back but I don’t like being fussy. I would return to Round Corner Cantina for appetizers and drinks but I’m hesitant to try the tacos again.

The front bar will catch your eye but head to the back! There’s a covered bar where Maika took outstanding care of me. As someone who works in the service industry, it’s extra appreciated. I recommend the pork
belly tacos for a meal and if you want some bar bites get the loaded papas fritas <3 love you cantina <3

For anyone visiting from outside the city/state, this place is a MUST for food and drinks. I came here with very low expectations as I’m used to fine mexican dining cuisine, but this place blew my mind! The dishes were so tasty, perfectly proportioned and just delicious. My boyfriend, who’s mexican and myself ended up ordering 3 rounds of plates because the food was just so good. I’m so glad I stumbled upon this place and I 200% recommend it for anyone in the area.

I enjoyed the food, and the place had a fun, unique vibe. My only comment is that it felt a little overpriced for what you get.

We were there yesterday for Valentine’s Day dinner and the food was excellent. They have so many vegan / vegetarian options which was helpful.

I loved everything I ordered but especially their vegan chorizo taco. Love the lime kick in it. It was truly love at first bite.

The waitron was very sweet and checked on us only when needed unlike many places where they keep intruding. Loved the atmosphere too!

Guac could use salt and lime but portions were very big! Yummy vegetarian option for the setan tacos. They should bring out plates for sharing the guac but overall nice atmosphere and decent food.

I’ve been here multiple times before. On this occasion we came for a friend’s birthday dinner, and it was a mediocre experience. There were 8 of us and we were seated at a table that sat 6 comfortably max. The drinks were decent, but the tacos are overpriced and never come out hot. I had the chorizo, which was fine but came without the potato. Some of my friends’ orders came out incorrect, which typically wouldn’t be a big deal but in this case was an allergy, and the food runner argued with him instead. Then the server blamed the mistakes on the kitchen, not a good look. The esquites were the only highlight of the meal. All in all, a good place for drinks and get your tacos elsewhere.

The seating is currently limited due to the restrictions on restaurants but the outside patio set up was great! I would recommend a reservation because it may be hard to get a seat otherwise. We ordered the Queso Fundido con Chorizo as an appetizer and were pleasantly surprised with the amount of food there was. The chips are some of the best, fresh, homemade chips I have had in a long time. The queso was a perfect combination of cheese with a nice amount of chorizo and some cilantro for that extra freshness. The poblano in the queso did not make it unpalatable due to excessive heat. For the main course, we ordered Carne Asada and Shrimp Gobernado Street Tacos. The amount of food on two tacos was most satisfying and definitely enough for one person. The carne asada was amazing and their avocado salsa brings a nice freshness to the tacos with just a little heat from the salsa verde. The shrimp tacos had huge pieces of shrimp that were cooked perfectly and the pico was exceptional.

My wife ordered the Flamenco mixed drink and it was an excellent choice. It paired well with the Shrimp tacos.

The service was spectacular and our server was on the ball, making sure we had everything we needed. The alcoholic beverage was brought quickly to the table as well.

As far as price, it is pretty spot on for today’s pricing standards. The average cost of an item ranges from $9-$15. I would definitely recommend trying Round Corner Cantina to quell your taco cravings. Five stars all the way.

There’s a nice bar and cool patio to sit outside at if you’d like a relaxing place to eat or drink, but aside from that I wasn’t impressed with the place. The food was overpriced with small portions. The queso we had wasn’t good and tasted almost like skim milk. The rest of the food was very average for what you paid for. It wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t good. Service was fine, food came out quick which was nice but overall thought everything was average compared to other mexican spots in the city.
