I don’t love “bbq” and I must say this place is pretty good! You get more food than you can finish and where else can you feed 7 1/2 people for under $100?! Very family friendly with quick service. I love the little sink for clean up. Not a huge fan of using ports-potties but they are the cleanest I’ve ever seen with a hidden area and a “flush” so you don’t see what everyone who visited before you left behind. It could be worse. There’s even a handwashing sink inside. The little market is adorable. There was a guy going around offering to let you cut your own flowers for free since it’s end of season. Kind of a win-win situation and another example of a family owned business loving on their customers!

We got in close to closing. They were out of brisket and bread. We had the pork platter with fries and baked beans. Everything was delicious. Pork was nicely Smokey and tender. The beans tasted good and the fries were fresh. Overall a fantastic experience and can’t wait to come back.

I look forward to this place every summer! The pulled pork platter is delicious, accompanied with fresh cut fries and choice of baked beans or coleslaw. It’s enough to feed two people. Very clean environment with an assortment of side sauces such as creamy horseradish, sriracha, ketchup, and many others in the back, so don’t forget to ask! Ribs are huge, and you get a half rack. Assortment of different drinks and birch on tap! Staff is friendly, and service is quick. Outside seating is available and produce shop next door. It’s a must try! I’ve had BBQ as good in Texas! The staff is wildly friendly and the food was fantastic. I wish they did traditional platters and not just sandwiches, but I also didn’t ask if they could customize because they were so busy. We went at open on a Friday and they already had a line (which moved quickly). What a great spot in schuylkill county!!

All their meats are delicious, pulled pork, spare ribs, chicken, best brisket. Also fresh cut fries, baked beans, Cole slaw, and corn on cob when in season.Also have beverages. Come with a big appetite you get so much. You might want to order ahead, they sometimes sell out quickly, people come from a great distance for their BBQ. Also have small ice cream sundaes. Outdoor Tables, and picnic tables to enjoy the area while you have GREAT food!!! Posted the pulled pork, their home-made horsey sauce is a must!!
