I recommend Roufy’s for anyone looking for a retro atmosphere with media posters, some niche, others mainstream. That’s the best thing about it, the atmosphere. It’s underground which gives it a chill vibe and it’s in the heart of Maadi.
The food is alright, I tried their burgers. However, they recently made the fries an add-on when it used to come with the order, which doesn’t match their American cuisine standards; as American restaurants typically serve larger portions and full meals.
Their servers are quite friendly, but the service was a bit slow when it came to asking for the check before we left.

The food was excellent! I had the grilled burger. If you like that buttery soft crunch of a grilled bun with your burger, order this! The mozzarella sticks were out of this world good. The Belgium chocolate cookie had the perfect ratio of Cooke to chocolate.

I was expecting a big size ,specially because you marketing for the brand as American experience (American burger is a big portion) ,price is high compared to the location and restaurant decoration

I swear, this has to be one of the best burgers in Egypt, or maybe the world! First, let’s talk about the food. We ordered the nachos, which was crunchy, and the toppings were amazing. Then the mozzarella sticks, which had an amazing cheese pull! Moving on to the burgers, there was the truffle smash, which had the best tasting beef patty, and I loved the truffle on the burgers. The bacon mushroom smash was also very nice, it had caramelized onions, which was a nice touch. Finally, the melt burger, which tasted like a regular burger, but elevated. Overall, the food is out of this world. Moving on to the atmosphere, the vibe of the restaurant was giving American diner, with many pictures of old movies and actor. Finally, the service. The staff were the best, they were extremely friendly and recommended us the popular menu items. I would definitely visit again, but I wish they had a branch in the 5th Settlement.

It may seems a bit overpriced but they use really good quality food. They added payment by card. Maybe next time they will change the chairs to more comfy ones
Was such a great experience! The place is cozy with cool decorations on the wall. The food was really tasty. The best thing was the fries; it tasted exactly like McDonald’s fries! The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the Mac and cheese was nice as well. The staff is great and they recommend the best dishes.
They just need to have payment by card as instapay is not the ideal replacement.

Awful, below average. Please don’t listen to the hype over this place. Anyone who had a decent burger would never step into this place. The Mac and cheese is literally the worst thing ever drizzled with cheap yellow sauce that doesn’t even qualify as cheese, the burgers zero flavour and nachos the saddest thing I have ever seen. Six of us absolutely loved this place! The onion rings were amazing, I was tempted to just eat a big pile of them but had to save space. I had the mushroom burger and it was soooo good if I go back I would definitely get it again. My wife had the double cheese burger and I finished it later that night because it was way too big for her (she is tiny). Everyone else really loved the food as well. The food was incredibly fresh, I couldn’t believe it. The vibe is super cool and enjoyed looking at the movie & music memorabilia on the walls. The service was friendly and attentive, and will definitely go back if I’m in that area as well. The gloves were and must say was an interesting touch and made the mess burger cleanup fun and easy. The only thing I found odd was the played the same song over and over the entire time. Not sure if that was unusual or every day but an easy fix in sure. This was my favorite place to eat on my 18 day Egypt visit!
