In 1996, Mitch Rotolo opened the first Rotolo’s Pizzeria in Baton Rouge, Louisiana just a pizza throw away from Louisiana State University. Through the will and loyalty of Rotolo’s customers, the casual Italian restaurant has since grown into a successful franchise with locations across the south and many more in the works! Rotolo’s Pizzeria uses only the freshest ingredients! We make our original dough fresh daily at each location. Combine that with our homemade sauces and freshly prepared vegetables, and you have a recipe for a delicious meal! Tammy was incredibly kind and outgoing — she honestly made the experience at Rotolo’s Pizzeria so much better. You can tell she genuinely cares about the customers and brings great energy to the place. The other guy working with her (forgot his name) was also awesome — both made the visit feel welcoming and upbeat.
That said, the food portions are pretty small for the price, so it’s not really worth it in terms of value. Still, the service from Tammy and her teammate definitely stood out and made the night way more enjoyable.

My server, Alex was amazing. he truly made the experience! Very knowledgeable about the menu. He was so characteristic and made it feel like a family restaurant. Food came out fast and was very good! I’ll definitely be back and asking for alex!

Place, spectacular and clean, workers were never just standing around, always wiping things down if they were not with a table.
Food, fresh, excellent and I do not even remember chewing. It was hands down, the top 3 pizzas I personally have ever had.

Im so happy I tryed this place today. I tryed the cajun boil pizza and wasnt disapointed one bit. I loved the flavor and quality. The lady who served my table was very friendly and attentive. I wanna also mention this place has Pibb soda and its very hard to get the soda in town. I look forward to coming back.

Deep Dish Bacon Alfredo is definitely my favorite pizza here. The crust on the outside edges is like something I’ve never tasted before and is cooked to perfection. Came with balsamic glaze and the Alfredo sauce on the side.

This was my first visit to this location and second time ever at a Rotolos. Uhhhh why have I been sleeping on this place?!?! This calzone was SO good, everything about it was great but that marina sauce took it to a whole other level is was so good. My friend and I were able to bring our dogs with us to sit outside which was awesome because we just left the dog park. We also got the cookie desert which we forgot to take a picture of but it was also fantastic. I will definitely be back and likely frequent this place.

Update. Unfortunately not a good one. Ordered chicken Alfredo on a Friday night…. Out of chicken… okay. But then I get spaghetti noodles on top of no chicken. Sad day for Rotolos. Crust pizza will put them out of business if this continues.
