We had a great lunch on Christmas Eve at Rotolo’s Pizzeria. We went right at opening before the lunch crowd came in, and the food came out quickly.
The garden salad was very fresh and easy to share. I ordered the Krewe calzone, which had soft bread and was filled with toppings. My friend had the deluxe calzone, and it was just as fresh and generously stuffed. Everything came out hot and tasted great.
We went on Wednesday $7.99 calzone day, split a salad, drank water, and each bill was around $13. We were full for the rest of the day, which made it an excellent value.
Customer service was excellent, especially with only one waitress handling the lunch crowd. The atmosphere is a casual lunch spot, perfect for a relaxed midday meal. The calzones tasted just as I remembered.
We will definitely be back!

Exceptional service, high quality food, best sweet tea I’ve had at a restaurant and coldest. My server was very friendly and engaged me in conversation which made for a great experience. The pizza was hot, well seasoned, and just the right size. Tried the bacon mac-n-cheese, with garlic knots and it was both unique and delicious. In my opinion this location is one of the best spots in Prairieville. Don’t hesitate to stop in.

Imagine the kitchen telling their server that their customer cannot have their salad as an appetizer because they “are too swamped,” then my pizza arrives BEFORE my side salad. Bro, you literally served me a handful of romaine thrown in a 4oz to go soup cup with dressing on the side. That takes 30 seconds to do.
After that interaction, it reminded me why I go to Lit, Jabby’s, or Stefano’s for pizza. Not only is their pizza way better, but their kitchen employees aren’t as simple. After previous disappointments with this Rotolo’s, this interaction solidifies that I will never spend another cent at that location. Oh, and I’ve seen better chicken Alfredo from the frozen section of the* grocery.

Very disappointed tonight. An extra long wait time turned into a terrible experience all around. I ordered the van helsing pom with finishers on the side. After waiting 50 minutes for my 25 minute quoted order, I finally headed home. I opened the box to find a puddle of grease, all finishes missing, and they hadn’t even cut it. So, I called. I told the one who answered what happened, was put on hold, and then told everyone was busy, so I could get a call back later. Yeah, no.

The Prairieville Rotolo’s continues to disappoint. Our waitress forgot our appetizers, left us waiting for drinks, and charged us $13 for plain spaghetti noodles because she didn’t know how to ring it up properly. We just paid and left out of frustration.
They also rarely have the beers they advertise, and when they do, they’re often warm or taste off. The food is good, but the service and bar management really need improvement.

Love Rotolos! My first time at this location. We tried a few of their pizzas and garlic parmesan bites. We ordered a pepperoni, maui wowi, italian club and meat feast. All of them were delicious! Service was lacking a little but he said it was a long day ( it happens) We’ll be back.

Food is consistent. They have some great servers mixed in with newbies. So service- can be the luck of the draw there. Nice little outside patio which can be rare in Gonzales/Prairieville. Plenty of parking. Also very well priced lunch specials.
