What a gem. Our second time at this wonderful restaurant while visiting the champagne area. The ambience, set in a beautiful garden, and their delicious rotisserie chicken. Also the staff, serving us with a nice dose of humor. Felt like we were at a family restaurant.

Loved it! My entrecôte was delicious and the béarnaise was fantastic! I’ve lived in France for nearly 4 years and the fondant au chocolat was the first in a long while that had a perfect centre. All the other meals were great too and the champagne range was wonderful.
The service was so friendly and warm. We’d been walking in the rain so they gave us a couple of blankets to warm us up!

Service was great and the environment was cosy. The rotisserie chicken was a bit dry and could use some sauce. Desserts were
not bad but disappointed that the crème brûlée didn’t have the crackle part.

Lovely restaurant with excellent outdoor seatings and good food. They are known for their roasted chicken and also offers a wide selections of champagne. Definitely worth a visit when in Aÿ !

Traveling in Champagne it’s easy to plan your Michelin lunch and dinner, but if you want some delicious roasted chicken, patio and a bottle of Champagne, make the journey to Rotisserie Henry IV. It has moved to a new location, it is the right, on the same side of the street from the original location. Also the drive is incredible. Lots of vineyards and roads, where you can pop out for photos. After lunch head over to Hautvillers for another cool scenic little town!

The restaurant located in a glasshouse in the garden, provides really extensive choices for fine food. We ordered a duck dish, steak and a pork ribs, both of them are really mouth watering with excellent sauce. Snails is also very nice, with shells removed in garlic butter.
As it’s located in Champaign region, they also provide great variety of Champaign choices. Indeed, it’s a very good dining experience for our wine tasting tour around the region.

Recommended by our tour guide at Bollinger for lunch, and she was right! Delightful place, excellent service from 3 attentive staff who spoke good enough English. They got one order wrong and quickly put it right. Good value range of wines and champagnes by the glass or bottle. We had pork belly, lamb shank and steak. Pork belly votes the best. Very healthy portions. Crème brûlée was top of the class.

Had a lunch here while on a Champagne tour. It is a beautiful and quaint locale. They have an outside dining area that is perfect for the nice country days. The menu has lots of options and they also have daily specials making great choices for anyone. The food is well executed and tasty. I had the pork chop which was great, but maybe a little over cooked. The service is fantastic and you can get by si vous ne parlez pas francais. Recommended!
