This fine small town Mexican restaurant earns a five-star rating! Everything was fantastic, but the Salsa Picante, the Carnitas and the service were exceptional.
Smokey jalapeno, cilantro, onion, tomatillo, garlic, and other spices combined to make some of the best salsa I have had. Excellent. I ordered the Burrito Ranchero: two large flour tortillas packed with tender lean crisp finished Carnitas, grilled peppers and onions. One covered with green sauce and one with red sauce. Beans and rice on the plate. A mouthwatering plate of food. The Carnitas are done right. Eat Carnitas here. Recommended! My wife had the Enchiladas la Banderas. She loved every bite.
It is a clean restaurant with outstanding service. The menu is enormous, pages and pages of your favorite Mexican food. The best Mexican restaurant in Stigler.
If you are looking for other Mexican restaurants in the area, check out my reviews in my collection “Jalapeno Highway” by Spike S. on Yelp. I’ve probably been there.

My wife and I stopped in and ate lunch a couple of weeks ago. I guess in Stigler this must be the place to be because it is always busy. Long story short the food tasted great but both of us had stomach issues for over a week after eating here. I had what I suspect was food poisoning that night and into the next day. I thought someone was ramming a knife through my guts. The waitress barely could communicate with us and it was odd even in a Mexican restaurant. I tried to order a beer and she looked at me like I was from another planet and I gave up on the notion entirely. Food made us sick, no beer or at least could not convey it to the waitress…. won’t be back.

Driving back to Tulsa and found Rosita’s Mexican Restaurant. Nice place it was easy to get to. We quickly got our table and out waitress was ready for our order. She was kind and answer our questions.
The food was excellent. The steak tacos with rice and beans sides were great!

I am a carnivore and ordered their steak minus beans, rice, peppers. This Mexican restaurant had a tastier steak than any steakhouse I have been to in El Paso or Fort Smith. Blown away. What a great size steak for barely $16.
