It was my first time eating at this place. I got the large pork sandwich and fried okra as suggested by a TikToker. It was drive through service only. I waited for almost 20 minutes until I got to the window. The lady was dry at the window. I ordered my food. I waited another 12 minutes. It’s cash only didn’t know. I pulled over to the store because they don’t sell beverages. I went ahead and start eating my food. The okra was crispy and hot— not too bad BUT the pork sandwich was so salty. I couldn’t eat it. I wasn’t about an hour. The price is fair though.

Quality, value and tradition are the words that best express Floyd’s! They serve solid ‘que at great prices that will satisfy your hunger and soul. The ribs are outstanding! Tender, juicy and full of that nostalgic flavor that brings to mind summer cook-outs at that certain person’s house everyone wanted to be invited to. Green beans are well seasoned and a touch spicy. Pork sandwich is solid with a juicy sauce that makes the bun mushy… just like I like it! It’s no wonder they’ve been open forever!
They are drive thru and carry out only, and cash is appreciated, so keep that in mind if you’ve never been.

You won’t find better bbq anywhere near this place, yes you wait a bit and yes it’s cash only, but ITS SO WORTH IT!! Best rib I’ve ever had by a long shot!

I love Floyd’s! A true country man that can cook comfort southern food. Everything is on point! My favorite is the half chicken!! But today I had the chopped chicken topped with Cole slaw and white sauce. My fiancee is new to the Ville he ordered the large rib plate with fried okra btw off the chain, and corn!! He absolutely loved the ribs. When you are in the mood for good BBQ Floyd’s is the spot. Nothing like a lil hole in the spot with great food.

Found this little place while getting gas at the station next door, and decided to try it out. There was a huge line of cars waiting, so I figured it had to be a good sign. I ordered a rib plate with fried corn and broccoli and rice with cheese. The servings were huge, and the prices were very reasonable. The broccoli rice was pretty good, but a little mushy. The fried corn was really good…not what I expected at all. It was sorta like a charred corn with peppers and a creamy sauce of some sort. The ribs were tasty, and came with 3 different sauces….the white sauce was the best by far! It was very runny and drippy and was a perfect addition to the ribs. This is a great little neighborhood stop, and we will definitely go back again to try all the other options. Sorry, we ate so fast, I forgot to take pics this time!

They do not take credit cards the menu is very direct and to the point….. The portions are big and they are absolutely outstanding the food is off the charts it’s worth waiting on the line for!!!!!!

The food is good but they do not adhere to their posted hours of operation so you will most likely waste your gas and time driving there to get food because they are probably closed. It’s extremely annoying. Would be very simple to just post your actual hours of operation.

Coleslaw seemed vinegar based with gherkin pickles and mustard, not sure. I like traditional coleslaw.
Greens were okay.
Waited in line for about 40 minutes in drive through. I can’t say it was worth the wait.
