Surprisingly really good Mexican food can be found in this most unlikely location or at least, in my opinion anyway and I should note, I developed my pallet growing up in Southern California. While the complimentary salsa isn’t as spicy as I would prefer, it always is fresh, the taste is still spot on and I find that it appeals to most people. On our last visit, my wife ordered beef enchiladas and I got a chicken chimichanga and both arrived at our table hot and delicious and with portions that neither one of us could finish. Of course, the severs here is always super friendly and the atmosphere in the dining room is very cozy and welcoming. I should note that there is plenty of seating for bigger groups and plenty of parking out front as well. I would definitely make it a point to make a stop here any time you need to make your way between the 95 and 395.

This is a great place to eat in Wellington! They are open 7 days a week and most days serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rosie took good care of us and was very friendly. She makes a good Margarita! Looking forward to going back!

Eating here was bittersweet. We’re not from the area, so I’ll likely never go again. Hands down best Mexican food I’ve had in decades. If you’re passing by you should make a point of stopping in.

Worst carne asada that I’ve had in 60 years. Beans and rice as well. Ordered flour tortillas, got corn. Called to talk to Rosie, she was off. The gentleman that answered the phone could care less. 6 years of eating at Rosie’s . First bad meal. The lack of concern tonight will keep me away for a while.

I had take out Monday Nov 24th and I order two tacos with rice and beans. Total $16 and when I took it home, it was sad amount of rice and beans. Food didn’t taste good unfortunately. This is the second time trying it and both times disappointing.

I forgot exactly what the plate was called but it was carne asada with 2 cheese enchiladas rice beans and fries with guacamole and sour cream. There were more fires I just ate most of them before the picture they’re nice and crispy. Enchiladas were real good with the melted cheese ends so good. I don’t think I had cheese enchiladas like this but I loved them. The carne asada was 2 thinly sliced pieces that although they tasted great disappointed me. A thicker one piece would have been juicier than 2 tortilla thin small pieces of meat. Rice was nice and fluffy and tasted great but could have used a little more seasoning. The beans weren’t great but weren’t awful either.
One thing I loved about the place is that they have a pitcher of water at your table so you can serve yourself when ever you’re out as oppose to waiting on the waiter/server to give you more. They provided decent chips and salsa oh and the side salad was very fresh.

I stopped in for the wonderful guacamole to have with taquitos at home. At first, I thought $7 was a little too much, but it was well worth it.
