I love when my food gets forgotten about and gets cold. My most favorite thing in the world is sad cold food, absolutely made my day. Sometimes the experience is better but this has happened multiple times.

If you are vegan or have any food sensitivities, going here is a risk. I have a mild sensitivity to cheese, so I always order salads without any. About 20% of the time it’s still there. Today, it was buried under the salad.

Seems to be crowded a lot of the time, and sometimes there’s a long wait for the food. Breakfast sandwiches and hash browns are great, but pretty much anything else there isn’t worth the wait in my opinion. My friend got a bagel which was toasted very lightly—it wasn’t so bad but could have been better. I once got a chicken philly for lunch which was a major disappointment. Also, both ketchup dispensers have been completely empty twice that I’ve visited, so be aware of that.

It’s a good backup option for food on campus. I only go on off-peak times, otherwise I’m waiting 30 minutes for subpar food. I’d recommend the wraps and pancakes, but everything else I’d stay away from.
I’d also avoid coming here after 8pm on any given day. I usually make myself dinner instead of going to Rosie’s.

I’d give it more stars if it was ran correctly. Definitely best food choice on campus for the meal plan. However, the poor workers are underpaid and understaffed. Usually a 20 minute line and then another long wait for the food, which don’t be surprised if something’s on the menu that they don’t have. (It’s pretty common) Not the workers fault though, I asked a worker if they can take a tip. The worker said they weren’t allowed! can you believe they’re not allowed to have a tip jar?!?! I mean for a university like Kent that pulls in this much money you’d think they would offer more than $9/hr for they’re own workers! But hey, I don’t really care. After all I’m not studying business classes here.

Is it overhyped? Yes. But they have a couple of options that can be made vegan and it’s a good deal for a meal exchange.

Have celiac and ordered gluten wrap for my sandwich. They served me a wheat wrap. It was too busy for them to remake it. I didn’t eat. Celiacs can go to hospital if they eat wheat

Has the potential to be a decent on campus dining option, but the long wait times and inconsistent menu are ridiculous.
They axed the soda fountain so no refills, axed a couple items from the menu, and made some portions smaller for no reason. And no you don’t even get a bottle, you get a can, which is less soda than they used to give you with the fountain.
Wait times are atrocious depending on the time of day and sometimes your food doesn’t even come out at all. One time I ordered mozzarella sticks and 30 minutes later I checked in on my order and they said they didn’t have any mozzarella sticks? Why not tell me that when you received my order?
The food quality varies. Sometimes my Greek veggie wraps taste strange and one time I found a piece of plastic in there. One time I ordered a veggie burger and my burger was clearly beef. They should be more careful because if you serve beef to someone who can’t eat it for religious reasons you could be in a lot of trouble.
You have to listen for your order number which is VERY bad for the hearing impaired. Sometimes they have a microphone, sometimes they don’t. Nothing is consistent at this place.
