Has the potential to be a decent on campus dining option, but the long wait times and inconsistent menu are ridiculous.

Seems to be crowded a lot of the time, and sometimes there’s a long wait for the food. Breakfast sandwiches and hash browns are great, but pretty much anything else there isn’t worth the wait in my opinion. My friend got a bagel which was toasted very lightly—it wasn’t so bad but could have been better. I once got a chicken philly for lunch which was a major disappointment. Also, both ketchup dispensers have been completely empty twice that I’ve visited, so be aware of that.

This place used to be great prior to the 2017 school year. It was 24/7 and sadly it no longer is. Menu was also about 3x the current size as well and 1/2 the current prices.

I’d give it more stars if it was ran correctly. Definitely best food choice on campus for the meal plan. However, the poor workers are underpaid and understaffed. Usually a 20 minute line and then another long wait for the food, which don’t be surprised if something’s on the menu that they don’t have. (It’s pretty common) Not the workers fault though, I asked a worker if they can take a tip. The worker said they weren’t allowed! can you believe they’re not allowed to have a tip jar?!?! I mean for a university like Kent that pulls in this much money you’d think they would offer more than $9/hr for they’re own workers! But hey, I don’t really care. After all I’m not studying business classes here.

The food here is extremely mid. Meatball sandwiches are decent. Customer service, however, is ATROCIOUS. They never know what they’re doing. They look like headless chickens. And you can barely understand them when they get you your food. There was a time I ordered grilled cheese and fries. 20-25 minute wait. When I got back to my room, in the Tri-Towers, the fries were cold and stale. When I got to my grilled cheese, it was all soggy around the crust. Gross! The grilled cheese is always barely grilled. I don’t recommend you go here unless you have at least 15 minutes to waste

I ordered my food at 10:51 pm and I never got it. I gave up around 11:35, truly disappointed in Rosie’s.

I was able to experience Rosie’s because our firstborn attends Kent State and had bragged about the quality of food it delIvers for her meal plan. By the way, if I were on the meal plan, I would have given it 5 stars. No complains on my hummus wrap, it was delicious. But since I was paying a la carte, it was $20 for 2 wraps, and 2 drinks, which is steep for me, but probably is par for the course on campuses everywhere….I’m just cheap, . Anyway, our food was great…I rated service as 5 stars, but that is “5 stars within what should be expected.” The food is prepared and then your number is called out and you pick it up, so don’t expect a waiter or anything, lol. 5 star service on that context is getting our order right, calling out the number loud enough for me to hear, and having all the condiments/utensils available. All those went well. Atmosphere is college students, and you can eat in the room with peers, or can carry it back to dorm or just down the hall to seats that are more peaceful. Having options is nice. Good food, I would go again.

Everything here is absolutely delicious. The pancakes, delicious, bagels, delicious, pizza, absolutely outstanding, chicken, pretty good. I love all the food and this is actually the only place I eat. It’s crowded yes but you can’t be the only person in the world that wants to eat lol.

I legit ordered a chicken quesadilla and within like an hour or two felt extremely sick to my stomach. I had gotten food poisoning from here twice.

It’s not D/deaf or Hard-of-Hearing accessible. There, so far, have been no one that signs there. This morning, however, there was a very friendly man who knew very, very little sign. I signed thank you and he said it back. I came back for lunch and he tried his hardest to communicate with me – asking if I got a number. He typed it in his phone instead. He was so friendly and helpful! For me, I let them read my phone (which asks if they can tell me when my number is ready) – they do. No questions asked! There have been times when I did not need to tell them to tell me when my number is ready. They know me, so they ask or come up to me and view my number HOWEVER, it only happens with 3 people out of all working there. The one permanent, accessible thing about Rosie’s is that there IS flashing fire alarms. I’ve edited this section about 3 times so far because my accessibility have been a degrading experience since I first made this review.
