.Rosie is an unassuming little wine bar that completely surprised us. The vibe is relaxed (I personally lean toward a more sultry wine-bar ambiance), but the food is anything but casual.

We started with the meatballs — phenomenal, with fresh, vibrant tomato sauce and perfectly crisp crostinis. The goat blue cheese and dry-aged chorizo from the charcuterie selection were standouts. The spicy rigatoni was delicious, but the broccoli Caesar stole the show — cooked broccoli with sprouts, fresh Parmesan, and Caesar dressing. Unexpected and incredible.

And the octopus? Possibly the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly braised, finished with a smoky crisp, served over smoky mashed potatoes.

My only critique: we were hoping for a happy hour and there wasn’t one available. That would elevate the experience even more.

They also have a calendar of special events we’re excited to attend. We’ll absolutely be back.

Homemade fresh made daily with a rotating menu. Apps, salads, entrees and desserts. I ate the gnocchi and took home the spicy bolongnes. There are a nice variety of craft cocktails and don’t sleep on any of the salads. A friend and I split the chocolate mousse with a tart on the top which was excellent.Pasta comes in a small and larger portion. The small portion isn’t enough to fill a person up if you’re very hungry but will leave you satisfied. The blueberry lasagna looked unique and both the people who ordered it said it was delicious. The restaurant has a cozy feeling, wallpaper, tea lights and ample sized parking lot. Warning it can get loud in there which is my only complaint. The place gets very busy so it’s best to get a reservation!

Really nice local place, perfect for a date night. I had a Dune cocktail which was a great holiday flavor and the ricotta gnocchi pasta. I didnt expect it to be spicy but the sauce was very thin and definitely had a little kick to it. My daughter had a wine flight and the spaghetti bolognese. The dishes were delicious but on the smaller side for an entree and had pretty small amounts of the meat in them. I definitely would recommend ordering an appetizer first if you’re really hungry.

Definitely get a reservation!

Always a fantastic meal at Rosie. We were a party of 8 and had many of our favorites. Started with shishito peppers and salads. We had braised lamb gnocchi, black fettuccine, spicy rigatoni and butternut squash ravioli. Very creative cocktails and delicious menu. Purple rain and Passion of the spice were 2 favorite cocktails. Great wine list too. Peanut butter pie to round out the evening. Worth the drive from south Nashville every time!

We had dinner last night at Rosie. I was very disappointed with the food. We have eaten there many times before & the food was always good! What happened??? The shrimp appetizer was over cooked, not tasty. The lamb dish sounded great, but was so salty. The”lamb” was just about 2 ounces.By serving it should be at least 4 ounces. Not much at all. What was served was good, but the dish was so salty, couldn’t eat it. The meat balls were always good & tender. This time, they were hard! For the price, it was not a good dinner.
Don’t think we’ll be back! CD

Shorts ribs, Brussels sprouts, crispy polenta, butter lettuce salad, and Parillada Del Mar were delicious. The Pavlova was too crispy. I like it crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. Table are very close together. You can definitely hear conversations on both sides of you.

We had an amazing experience for our first time! Food was delicious. We regret not trying this place sooner! I got the spicy rigatoni which was the right amount of spice and flavor! My husband got the short rib and he said it was so tender. We absolutely loved the broccoli Caesar salad! Oh and they have the best espresso martini! We will be back for date nights!

Rosie Food & Wine is one of our favorite local restaurants! We had dinner there last night and had a great experience. It was busy, but that did not affect our experience. Our server was very attentive, nice, and helpful with the menu. Our food was delicious, and we loved every item that he recommended! I highly recommend Rosie Food & Wine, and I look forward to dining here again!

Atmosphere was excellent and chill from the time you walk in until you walk out. Everyone was friendly and greeted you as well. We had a work dinner for about 8 people. The service you get from this place is top notch 5 star. Our waitress never let our water glasses empty and recommended things for the new people in our group. The food was excellent and did not disappoint anyone. All was cooked very well and to everyone’s liking. If your ever in Nashville and looking for a excellent place to eat, then stop by Rosie’s, you will not be disappointed. You all rock!!!

This was our other choice for our anniversary dinner but we chose another, so a few days later the kids were buys with sports or whatever and we got to go on a whim as we were down the street.

We did not have reservations (it would have been past 9 for dinner, so no thank you), but we were able to walk in and find a seat at the bar.

The service was great and spot on. The decor, noise level and everything about this place is top notch. We had the lower bar seats right next to the kitchen window and watching the staff work together and get food out was nothing short of a well balanced symphony.

My wife had the Ricotta Gnocchi with sherry glazed Brussel Sprouts and I had the Pork Chops and all of it was incredible.

We will definitely be back, as I heard they update and change their menu here and there for new market items.
