Rosie Food & Wine is a small 60 seat chef-driven restaurant located in Hendersonville, TN. Specializing in Spanish and Italian fare, Rosie also aims to bring special and unique wines to showcase chef Andy Hayes’ creations. Reservations highly recommended as seating is so limited. Our 15-seat bar is also the perfect spot for a spontaneous supper. Happy hour is available daily throughout the entire space from 4pm-6pm with specials on beer, glass wine, and selected fare. It is always a good time at a table full of fun friends, but the food at tonight’s dinner was incredible. We started with a smoked trout dip for the table, and it was exceptional. Each couple shared salads, and they were delicious. We recommend the following entrees: salmon, quail, red grouper, blueberry lasagna, and spicy rigatoni. We recommend the following desserts: lemon dessert, rice pudding, and dark chocolate mousse. There was an excellent wine selection and beverages for every flavor. I did wish there were a few more non-alcoholic mocktail selections for those not imbibing.

Some of the best food I have ever eaten. WOW! What an experience is was. The wine flight from Argentina was awesome. Bartenders were very friendly and attentive. Server was kind and attentive. I will be back many, many times to try new dishes. A busy place, but worth every penny. Highly recommend. We went again for my wife’s birthday. OMG! Beast thing I ever ate. Duck & quail fideo. It is crazy good!

Loved everything! From the service to the actual food, this place is a hidden gem. The hostess is what made us stay. She didn’t have a table for us but let us sit and even got someone to serve us wine while we wait! Then she was able to get us a table quicker than expected. Food was incredible and definitely recommend the bread pudding!

We enjoyed our meal at Rosie, sharing 6 of the small plates between 4 people. The Rosie potatoes (inspired by patatas bravas) were a standout, as were the Brussels sprouts. The service was really nice and attentive. And the restaurant has a good atmosphere even with an odd location by Home Depot. To take it to the next level, it really needs to decide if it’s pursuing a Spanish or Italian inspiration. The Spanish was better in our opinion, but missing several classic tapas. Note: the octopus portion was surprisingly small.

They were still waiting on the outdoor signage so we missed it at first. It had a great ambiance at the location. The service from the bar, the hostess and the servers were great. The chef even came out to the table. The food was very flavorful, the brussel sprouts were great, the scallops were good, the chicken and sausage was tasty. It is a little bit higher priced than other restaurants nearby but gives you a greater caliber of fine dining.

Went to Rosie for the first time this evening and was not disappointed. The service was great and the food was delicious. I had the Pork & Quail Fideos and it was so good. Wife had the short ribs, stepdaughter had the black pasta and son-in-law had spaghetti and they all loved their meals. I also had the Apple Cake dessert and left so full. They also had a very different cider on the menu and I appreciate having a different choice. We definitely will be going back and definitely recommend you give it a try.

Rosie Food and Wine is a nice little gem in Hendersonville. The space is very calm and social. The service at the time was slow but the establishment was busy. I had the ziti which was very creamy with a tiny kick of spice. The carrot cake cheese cake was very delicious.
