You want fine dining, go somewhere else. If you want delicious food, great service, and affordable prices, this is a great spot. Some people will talk about the carpet or the restrooms needing updated, yep, they are well wore in, but the place is clean.
Diners like this are a dying breed, and that’s unfortunate because it shouldn’t cost a weeks worth of groceries to have a decent meal with the family.
This place is super old school, they still give you a hand written receipt, and I hope they never change.
The rolls are amazing, the soups are great, and the flaming cheese is awesome! Opah!
If you’re looking for a place to have a good meal with friendly service, hit up this Rosewood in the Have’!

1 in the afternoon seated right away in a less than 1/2 full cafe…. Maybe 1/3? 17 minutes no interaction or even water, then told will be just a minute. 4 mins later, walked out never even looked up from her phone as we left. Food is usually pretty decent, service is usually cordial even if slow- but this was just ridiculous.

Been coming here since I was a kid. Now I bring my own kids. They LOVE the mozzarella sticks and spend their time doing cheese pulls before their meals arrive. The place has not changed much since I was a kid, and I think that is part of it’s charm. Nothing like a hometown diner.

This restaurant is old fashioned yet inviting. The menu offers multiple food choices, and there is also a senior menu. There is plenty of free parking and they have clean restrooms. The restaurant is kid friendly. It is also handicapped accessible. The food is served hot and fresh. What impresses me is that they offer so many kinds of foods, so there is something for everyone. I love their lemon rice soup and get it practically every visit. They have a variety of delicious cakes for dessert. I like the convenience of the location also.

Wife and I decided to eat here for the first time after entering we decided against that idea. After being greeted and sat at a booth we just sat there seeing a male server go to a table to check on twice and dropped off food for another that was right next to us but we never got any type of acknowledgment. Another worker walked passed us to grab sauces and again no kind of acknowledgment. No drinks, no knowledge of who are server even was. After sitting there for 12 minutes looking stupid we just left. Thanks for the wonderful service!!!!

The Rosewood Family Restaurant is hands down one of our favorite places to go when we want a delicious meal without breaking the bank. The service here is always so warm and welcoming—you can tell the staff really care about their customers and go out of their way to make sure everyone leaves happy. Every time we’ve gone, our food has come out fresh, hot, and exactly as ordered, which says a lot because we tend to be picky sometimes. The portion sizes are incredible—you definitely get a lot of food for not a lot of money, which makes it such a great value for families or anyone who wants a filling meal without overspending.
We especially love the atmosphere. Yes, it’s got that classic diner-style feel, and while that might not be for everyone, for us it’s part of the charm. It feels cozy, friendly, and down-to-earth—like the kind of place you can come back to again and again without ever feeling out of place.
One of the things that keeps us coming back is how the menu never gets boring. They’re always adding new specials and fresh options, so there’s always something different to try if you want to mix it up. At the same time, they’ve got all the classic favorites you can rely on, so you get the best of both worlds—consistency and variety.
We also have to give a huge shoutout to our favorite server, Jake! She’s absolutely the best—always on top of everything, super friendly, and she makes the whole experience even better. It’s the kind of service that really sticks with you and makes you want to come back again and again.
All in all, Rosewood is one of those hidden gems where you know you’ll get great food, great service, and a great deal every single time. We totally recommend it to anyone who’s looking for a family-friendly spot that never disappoints!

My fiancé and I just moved to South Haven, and I somehow had never heard of this place until last week. Now I’m obsessed. Great food, decent prices, and the BEST part…… breakfast ALL day. Definitely my new favorite spot ☕️

Worse tasting lasagna we ever tasted. It didn’t even look like lasagna because it fell apart and looked like tomato sauce with a few noodles. HORRIBLE. We have had delivery before and eaten in the restaurant but never had such bad tasting food

Friendliest place and a great value! I love meeting my family here. The servers are so nice and I try to tip them well. They work hard and deserve it.
The soups are so good and the Chilli is the best!
I had a cheddar bacon burger today and for $1 extra had French onion soup. It was Delicious ❤️
There are very few restaurants that senior citizens can afford to go eat a hot meal these days.
Thank you, Rosewood and all the nice servers that treat my dad, aunt and me like family
